If so, did they have a National Guard promo before the movie in the theater you went to?

Just wondering if it's showing before the movie in every theater or just in the one I went to.

If you did see it before the movie, did you find it a bit desolate & disturbing to show before a children's movie? I'm not usually one to complain about something like that & I totally support the National Guard, but the images seemed like they were a little too bleak to show to some children, especially before a happy little animated movie.

Video here, if you want to see it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJRthpxDM10

when does the first trimester in pregnancy finish?

2007-11-03 22:53:13 · 6 answers · asked by Anonymous

My husband and I have a two year old daughter that was a preemie. I had every complication that you can think of during my pregnancy and can't even fathom having another NICU baby (plus the cost has put us in a real financial strain) and due to my age (I'm 32) and my blood pressure, I'm at high risk for a heart attack or stroke while on the pill, so my husband has been scheduled for a vasectomy, which he's fully willing to do, on Nov. 16th. Now I'm having second thoughts. I've been thinking about what if something happens, God forbid, that our daughter would die and then we can't have more children. I'd rather take the chance of accidentally getting pregnant again than not being able to conceive at all. What are my best options? I can't use condoms due to laytex allergy and I don't beleive in the IUD. Any serious input would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am 38 weeks and will be delivering any day now. My babies Father has not told his parents because he is afraid that they will stop paying for his tuition for college. If you ask me, I think thats just him trying to by the cheap way out of things. But My question to you is, should i tell his parents myself, since he isnt going to, or should I let him wait til he graduates and then tell his parents? I feel as if I owe it to my unborn son to let his other grandparents know about him. After all, they may never find out, and I dont want my son looking at me like i didnt try. HELP!!

or have you ever even heard of this? I personally am not getting one.. I am 30 weeks and couldn't be more happy. However, a friend of mine told me that her daughter had considered one and she was required to take a class, teaching them exactly what happens to the baby... either preventing them from getting the abortion or from getting pregnant again. I won't go into details, because it truly disturbed me (it was very gruesome)... but what are your thoughts on this? I'm sorry, I typically cringe at the word abortion, but after talking with my friend about this subject, I felt I needed to ask. Do you think requiring a class could prevent abortions?

Ok, so I went to my normal doctors appointment lat week (16 weeks). They saw glucose in my urine. So, they did the finger prick test and I was at 224, and hadn't eaten in like 2 hours. So, I went the next day and did the 2 hour glucose test. All they told me is, that after the 1st hour I was at 180, and the max was 180. My OB said he is going to send me to the dietitian on monday too, but he had me come in today and get the monitor and tracking sheets. I have to track everything I eat, which usually isn't that unhealthy, and check my blood 7 times a day. When I went today to the doctor they want me to check my own blood to make sure I could do it. It read 144 and I had eaten beef jerky like 2 hours before. All I had before that was a bagel with cream cheese and an OJ for breakfast four hours prior. Basically, I want to know if it sounds like I'm gonna be the one that has to use insulin. Like I said, I eat fairly healthy to begin with and my levels are still high.

I am almost 38 weeks pregnant and I want to make my husband feel special. Every thing lately has been about the baby. And i don't have the energy that i use so i work and i come home and pass out. And also have been taking most of my mood swings out on him. I really don't have a lot of money to buy him any thing. I am just looking for an idea so he knows that i love him and apprecate him since he has been a trooper through out my whole pregnacy.

I am a married man and over the past 10 years I been donating my sperm FREE to anyone in need. I have helped to conceive 12 children in 4 countries with 7 mothers. The eldest child is 8 years while the youngest is now 5 months. All sperm recipients must accept to keep in touch with each other and MUST encourage the children to establish a bond with each other. I have met many of the parents as well as the children and keep in touch with all by phone. We recently accommodated a lesbian couple visiting with their two children (both fathered by me) from Sweden and we are next to visit their beautiful country with our 3 children. I ship my sperm from a sperm bank. All couples sign an agreement absolving me from parental responsibility. While this is legal in my country, is it equally legal everywhere? Does anyone know if there are any legal loop holes that I should consider before going on? Many of these women are now bringing their friends and the list is growing very large. Please assist

towards others.
Like if I went to a baby party and had to take my shoes off.As I left my shoes were missing. It seems childless people would immediately offer to pay.But parents seem oblivious to my stolen $485.00 shoes.

Does anyone else feels this way? I am tired of paying for idiotic single "mothers" who did not use birth control and therefore I am having to pay for their mistakes. I am all for shutting down benefits to these brainless bimbos in the form of Medicaid. Does else agree? Whenever I hear someone is a single mother, all I want to is throw up. oh, and I am a woman myself, but am not about tho have babies that I cannot support myself, birth control is definitely cheaper.

we have been together for 5 months, and agreed to be exclusive. I found out he was setting up a meeting with another girl on the internet so I broke up with him immediately. He said he truely loves me and did want a life with me and he didnt plan to cheat on me, he was concerned our relationship may not last long(several reasons). He wouldnt purse another relationship nor had sex while we were together. He said still what he did was wrong and he was sorry for hurting me. He didnt ask me to take him back but took down his profile and said he was going to be single for a while and do some serious self-evaluation.
today I found out Im pregnant, I havent told him yet.
do you think what he said is sincere? should I keep this child? Im 26, he is 35

I am 28 weeks pregnant and since last Fri my feet have been swelling up. At my doctors appointment Tuesday I mentioned this to him. He asked me if they look normal in the morning; yes. But all he said to me after that was to keep my feet elevated as much as possible, avoid salt and "since your blood pressure was fine, we will check them in 4 weeks"... ok- he's the doc. Well this morning I woke up and my feet were kinda swollen, but now they are huge. What do you think?

I've been with the same man since highschool. We've been engaged the whole time. I just turned 25 two weeks ago. We're very much in love still. I couldn't imagine my life without him in it. For the past couple months, the idea of a baby has been driving me crazy. I want one. But I am scared, I mean totally frickin petrified of it. I've been pregnent before, but we lost it- I remember how absolutly sick it made me-. I had to go to the hopsital cuz I was soo dehydrated- couldnt eat/drink anything- not even an ice cube! I am soo worried something may go wrong. And what if i'm not a good mom? I know I have some mental things going on but I'm soo scared of not being everything my child and husband would need. Is this just normal stuff or am i being crazy???

Did you want to know the gender of your baby before (s)he was born? Why or why not?

I am not pregnant yet. But, I am still in the air if I would want to know or not. Here are my reasons: To Know: plan nursery and buy clothes; Not to Know: surprise.
