trying to prove you're innocent? don't worry, even if its gone (which you wouldn't really feel or notice) its undetectable except for a DR and it can be gone for a number of reasons AS WELL AS intercourse.... like tampons, exercise... etc.

Symptoms Of Broken Hymen

2017-01-16 05:16:37 · answer #2 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

The only "symptom" is, sometimes, a little bleeding, and even THAT is not always the case. There is a slight chance of infection, as is the case with any cut.

Any kind of "self examination" would be meaningless, unless one was trained to recognize what to look for. A gynocologist would be best qualified to do this.

Your question still leaves me unsure of what your concern might be. Are you afraid that there might be some outward sign, apparent to anyone, that indicates your hymen might not be intact? Talk to a doctor, about your concerns.

i suppose you would have to get examined by a doctor. they should be able to tell just by looking. i don't think you would be able to tell yourself. the idea is that the first time you have sex you feel some pain and there is some bleeding. that is supposed to mean that your hymen was still intact, and now it isn't. if you've had sex, your hymen is broken, basically. if you haven't, it would be hard to tell without a doctor exam. sometimes a girl's hymen is broken before first sex, just because of an active lifestyle. it happens a lot and there's nothing weird or bad about it.

Well sweetie, the hymen is the little flap of skin just inside the vagina. It is natural to become broken over time, especially if you are very active. If you've had intercourse, it might have bled a bit. The best symptom i can give you is that you would have bled, or had some mild discomfort...It is completely natural, so dont fret:) Its not like we live in the old world anymore:)
