I just got my Mirena IUD a month ago. I just had my doctors's check up 2 days ago. I wanted to get it out because I hadn't stopped bleeding, and we (my husband and I) bullied the doctor into agreeing to tie my tubes. He tried to take it out, but he couldn't find the strings, and his poking around looking for them was hurting terribly. So, he said if I could tolerate it for 1 more month before my surgery, he'd just take it out then while I was under anesthesia. Seemed like a good idea at the time to me!

Here's my concern: I'm sure the IUD is still in there somewhere, because he just checked and I haven't found it in my underwear or anything. However, my bleeding that refused to stop (filling 2 pads a day) just magically stopped like someone turned off a faucet. This is suspiciously close to when my period should have been. So, all my IUD users: did your strings get lost inside you, did you get pregnant, are you more at risk for pregnancy of your IUD travels further up into your uterus?

Do any of you think about how your children will affect the planet in the future? There are 7 billion people on this planet, and the numbers keep climbing. The earth can't even sustain the amount that is on it now, but people continue to have 3,4,5 and more kids. Is anyone out there not having kids, or only having 1 trying to bring down the human population? I'm curious.

I think it is Selfish! Giving up a babys life when you could give them up for adoption and give them a full happy life!

I have a TON of baby girl clothes I'm looking to sell. There are two stores in my town I'm considering. One is a consignment store. They take your stuff, sell it, and then after 3 months give you 50% of whatever they've sold. The problem with that store is that if you give them 5 things, and they only sell 3 by the 3 month mark, you don't get any money for the rest of your stuff. The other store takes inventory of what you want to give them, offer you a certain amount of money up front, and then you don't deal with them any more - they just sell it. I'm thinking the second store would be best, but I have a TON of stuff; I'm just afraid they'd cheat me or not give me NEARLY what my clothes are worth. Does anyone have experience with both? Thank you in advance!

If any of you have followed my questions on here about the car crash that took the life of my 11 year old cousin which was caused by the step-mom that was driving 80mph with drugs in her system, why should she be wanting someone to watch her? She will be getting out of the hospital soon and charges are pending.
(No one has threatned her)
She knows it was her fault, she caused this and now she wants someone to guard her. I find it funny that she is playing the victim when my cousin was the victim.

Who is really going to stand guard at her house watching her?
The law ain't going to do it, i wouldn't think. I mean don't you think if she thought "It was a major accident" then why is she worried?

His family is insane and i really don't want my child growing in that kind of life style with drugs so on so on. i do want him apart of this and i am froma very conservative family.. i had straight a's, showed horses my whole life, cheered, and then i foud this bad boy and thought i was in love! got pregnant and well basically made MY life harder, but see i don't want to make my kids life hard. i don't want her to have to go through things because of MY mistake, i moving to his town saved up money and i will finish my education, on my part i will find a way to make it work, so heres the promblem.. my ex is 20 now dating a 15 year old, so????? am i just suspose to truat him and a 15 year old with my kid!!! oh my but i want to make this work, i'm very protective, how can i go about making this work? thanks =]

Here's the thing I have been married almost six years and I really want to have a baby but to be honest my husband is not good looking and a weakling sissy type. I am seeing a man who is far more attractive and strong and I think he comes from better stock. The issue here is that I would like to have my boyfriend be the biological father but my husband be the baby's father in every other way. My husband is much more trained and domesticated for such a task. My husband feels hurt by the fact I don't want our kids to be biologically his but I know I can get him to do whatever I want when push comes to shove. The question for me is do you think I am wrong for wanting a better stock for my kids? Hubby thinks so?

My brother-in-law & his wife suffered the death of their son who was still born who died just a few days before his birth. The 1st year date (I'm not sure what title to give it) is coming up just 2 days before Thanksgiving. I want to be mindful & acknowledge what they might be going through, what they might be thinking & how they maybe feeling this Thanksgiving. Is it best not to say/do anything or is there away their baby can be remembered on what should have been (IS) his birthday? I've never been involved with someone who has loss a child to death.
Also ~ Our youngest is just 6 months older than their baby. I have a bit of guilt about the fact that I have 5 children & all where born "perfect & healthy" when I'm around them. They are in their 30's & this baby was to be their first. There's also another brother-in-law with a baby 4 months older then their baby. I know it's going to be hard to see us with our babies who are close to their babies age during this time. What to do??

I am married, I have a 5 year old, and a 10 month old, both boys. I was in college when I had my 5 year old, I went back to school, worked, and took care of my child all alone. Then when I got married I worked a full time job, had another baby, took care of home, my kids and my husband. Now my husband is in Iraq, and I was still working a full time job and taking care of home and the kids, well now I have resigned from my position at work and this was my first week as a stay at home mom, well I love it! This is so easy, my life is stress free! I just don't understand why stay at home mom's says this is a hard thing to do. What was hard was getting up at 6am, getting myself and 2 kids ready, taking the kids to daycare and school working 8 hours a day, picking the kids up, cooking, cleaning, giving baths, reading stories, and getting ready for the next day. Why do stay at home mom's say this is Hard??? Real world experiences please.

That is like saying it is okay to abuse old people but not kids.
You are for abortion or your not. Most people on here say abortion is murder (I do not agree) but then they say it is okay to have done to save the mothers life or if it was from rape.
I think that you all make no sense in how you say that.

There is a girl her nick is heaven , she just wrote a question saying im 15 and want a baby so bad but my mom said no...................... okay if you look at her other questions she has asked things like my baby is soooo ugly and me and my hubby are cute why is she deformed etc etc , what i want to know is why do people even answer these questions , she and others who post questions like her are looking for attention wether that be through positive or negative answers when people answer them even to tell them how silly they are they enjoy it because in there sad life this is the only way they can get some kind of interaction if people just completly ignored the question they would go away and the people with serious questions and information would be able to get the answers they need ,,,,
