If any of you have followed my questions on here about the car crash that took the life of my 11 year old cousin which was caused by the step-mom that was driving 80mph with drugs in her system, why should she be wanting someone to watch her? She will be getting out of the hospital soon and charges are pending.
(No one has threatned her)
She knows it was her fault, she caused this and now she wants someone to guard her. I find it funny that she is playing the victim when my cousin was the victim.

Who is really going to stand guard at her house watching her?
The law ain't going to do it, i wouldn't think. I mean don't you think if she thought "It was a major accident" then why is she worried?

she wants a guard because since she KNOWS she was wrong, she is afraid of revenge.

She is totally irresponsible. She is in denial about her guilt in the death of your cousin. Tell her to go to the rehab and get help. Once she gets straightened out she may come into reality and accept what she has done and the courts will take care of the rest. No body will stand guard; she is paranoid and has no other way of dealing with her irresponsible act of killing your cousin. If she was abusive to him, she feels guilty for it and now she has a lot of ugly music to face. Be strong and let this be a lesson on the perils of drug and alcohol abuse. BE RESPONSIBLE and do not allow her actions in the future influence how you would act in the same situation. The only good thing about this is it is a bad example of how to live ones life.

I could understand it. There could be a psychological benefit for her as well. She might have post-traumatic stress disorder or some concern about self-defense. That doesn't make her actions right but I could understand why she is scared. As for charges, the court will have to decide. These charges are serious though: possibly vehicular manslaughter, reckless endangerment, illegal possession of a narcotic, driving under the influence of a narcotic, reckless speeding, speeding, etc. I hope she gets a good lawyer but she will probably be better off with a plea bargain for a guilty plea--they might drop charges and go for a shorter jail term.

I think between the residual effects of the drugs and the guilt she is feeling she has become paranoid. Thus causing her to not think clearly! Yes, your cousin was the victim, not her. She is only a victim in her own mind. How tragic for your family and I am truly sorry! I hope that she gets the treatment that she needs and that she will face the consequences of her actions. You cousin deserves justice to be served! My sincerest condolences to your entire family!

This person is probably panicked all over the place due to this child being killed. She probably has all kinds of thoughts running through her head. One might be - what some one might do to her because of what happened to this child.

Evidentually so .. since she is requesting security.

Also, she may know something, that you do not know.

You may soon learn the truth of her concern.

It sounds like guilt. She has to know what she did and she must also know that others are very upset with her.
Anytime a life is taken at the hands of another, it affects everyone involved. She knows this. Thats why she is worried.
I will pray for the situation
