I was told that the home prego test would not even confirm till about 4-5 weeks and or the week of your missed period? Yes is this true

I knew the next morning. Then I confirmed with a HPT at 2 weeks.
EDIT: You're right, a HPT will confirm at the first missed period, which is approximately 2 weeks after you can conceive. In prego lingo, though, that would be 4 weeks since you count from your last menstrual period, not from conception. In my answer above, I was talking about 2 weeks of actually BEING pg. :)

I was 6 months pregnant. I had irregular periods to begin with. I was on birth control before that. ANd I was skinny so I wasn't even showing at all. I didn't get any morning sickness or anything like that. WHat made me notice was my daughter kicking (which I thought was gas.. ha how embarrassing) so I went to my OB/GYN and who KNEW??
I was so amazed! But so happy... so in one day I found out that I was pregnant, I was having a girl and I had an ultrasound pic of her.
MY pregnancy seemed so quick..so we joke and say that i was a microwave oven.... being that others just have a bun in the oven...

I had found out 7 days before my period was due when i was pregnant with my son by taking a home pregnancy test.
The second time i was pregnant i did not find out until i was 5 weeks along but that was because i was miscarrying and did not even know i was pregnant.

4 weeks with my first (I took the test the day my period was due)
5 weeks with my second (took the test 1 week after my period was due)

1st - closer to 8 weeks I had a full period the first month.
2nd - about 4 weeks

i kinda knew at 4 weeks - but was in a little bit of denial - confirmed at 6 weeks

1st preg at around 8 weeks
2nd preg found out at 4 weeks
3rd preg found out at 4 weeks(m/c at 8 weeks)
4th preg found out at 6 weeks(i'm now 24 wks 4 days )
