My son is five months old, but has an impressive attention span. I want to take advantage of this and teach him everything I can. I read and sing to him a lot, and I know all the little games like peek-a-boo and whatnot.. I want specific 'game' games that I can buy in stores or online.. what are the best games and learning tools to use with a 5+ mos old or, what are your favorites to use with your own baby?? Thanks :)

He would have been our first baby. My husband is in Iraq, and he can't make it home. Is there anything i can say or do to make him feel any better? I have already sent the one pic I have of Cody. Anything would help. As hard as it is for me, I feel like he's having an even harder time than I am because he can't be here. Thanks

I have a set of 4 month old twin girls, does anyone out there have twins?, can you give me a brief run-down on how life it like in your house. Has it been a positive experience. Would you do it again?

She is not crying but she seems to do this at bed time. Once she starts doing that she then begins to roll around, pull up and then she is back to rubbing her head again. I’m not sure if this is something to be concerned about. If this is a medical issue I need the correct wording to visit the man in the white coat. (A doctor is something he is not)

My 3 month old daughter has it and we have been putting baby oil on it because we heard it works really well for that sort of thing. I was washing her hair last night and some of her hair where the cradle cap is came out as I was gently wiping her head with the cloth. Is this normal?

I have almost completely stopped nursing my 5 month old, except for her bedtime feeding. I am not sure whether I should be pumping to relieve my engorgement or if that would produce more milk. This is my third child and I just can't remember exactly how I did it with the other two! Any help would be great. Thanks.

Ok, my daughter is 5 months old. Sat she started running a fever of 102. I called my doctors on call nurse and she said that I should treat it with tylenol and call back if it was still there in a couple of days. Monday she went to daycare and they called me to tell me she still had the fever of 102, was given tylenol and an hour later was 101. They also said she had only had about 4 1/2 ounces of formula. So I called the doctor to see what he thought. He told me that he wanted to see her. I brought her in her temperature had returned to normal, probably from the tylenol, and she had a bottle while in the waiting room and took that just fine. He checked her over and said he did not see anything wrong, although he said she sounded a tiny bit congested. Lastnight she was warm and I took her temp and agian a low grade fever. Gave her tylenol and it went down only to come back about and hour and half later. Anyone else experience this? Its just weird to me that her fever spikes, goes down.

Have you used the Wal-Mart brand diapers (White Cloud) or Costco brand (Kirkland) disposable diapers and found them to be just as good or better than Pampers or Luvs? I'm debating on offering them to customers but want some feedback before I do to see if there is a need for "generic" brand diapers.

I didn't think it was required of me, because it is traditional to only have one showers. But have times changed?

ps. if I had all the money in the world, I wouldn't bat an eye to buy my friends lots of lavish gifts for their every occasion, but the budget does not always allow!

What I would like to know is people out there who used formula, did you baby get sick more than breast feed babies and did you have a harder time losing the pregnancy weight?? Thanks..also what is a good brand of formula??

I am a first time motherof a 3 month old little girl. My husband wants to take me for a very much needed overnight getaway. I feel that I am not ready to leave her overnight, even though I desperately need the break. What do you think? When did you leave your baby for the first time overnight? Did everything go ok? And who did you leave the baby with? Thanks in advance
