My doctor says he has to get out of our bed- which I don't really want to do because he won't sleep at all! He also says I have to let him cry it out but my husband and I can't get up for work after him crying for 3 hours. He usually wakes up to eat and goes right back to sleep. Any suggestions? PLEASE HELP - I have't slept all night in about 9 months !!!!!!!!!!

I'm a mom who has a 5month old who nurses every 3 hours. I was wondering if this is normal? I really need to go back to school and was wondering when I can go. Since now I only have a span of 3 hours. I've tried to get him to take my milk in a bottle but he really hates it and my husband gets so frustrated so quick trying to give him the bottle. My husband is terrified to be left alone with him b/c our son will start crying and my husband can't get him to stop usually b/c our son just wants me. So how often does a 6 mth nurse, 7 mth, 8mth, 9mth 10 mth nurse? Also I just gave him his first stage 1 food the other day and he ate it well. How often do I feed him these foods? What does that mean for my nursing? Any recommendations or ideas will help. Thanks all!

He is a little to small to have toys in the tub with him so I can't try to bribe him with that. I don't know if he just doesn't feel safe or what. It isn't that he doesn't like water because he was in the shower and enjoyed that. So, anyone have any ideas?

my 2 year old does not sleep thru the nite, we've tried the "let him cry back to sleep" method, which is not working at all...is an every nite thing...the doctor said it's just a bad habit he has, that we just need to keep letting him cry to brake the habit, but it has not worked in months, i don't know what else i can do...it's starting to get very stressful to have to deal with the crying every single nite for up to 3 hours!!...can anybody help?

My son is four months old and has been constipated for over a week now. He does poop but they are big turd poops (like his older 16mo sister passes) He is on Soy because he had bad gas on the similac formula. He sleeps through the night when his gas/constipation doesn't wake him up.
I've read a little on other questions about what to do. We've tried prunes and giving him a little extra water, which doesn't seem to help. Some previous answers suggested apples (which I'm trying now), brown sugar water, caro syrup (which I heard was bad for babies this young??) and other types of formula.
Any tried and tested methods out there? Should I change his formula again?(He gets gas from powder so we have to buy it in a liquid form, and even then he gets gas if we switch from ready to feed to concentrate!!) I'd love to hear from other moms who have/had babies like this cause although he's my four, he's my first with all these tummy problems and he's driving us crazy!

Should you put in diapers and change him in the bassonette or recieving blankets, or should I put nothing down there? Just some ideas of what other people do would be great.

the night before last I took my son to the ER because he has a whole diaper full of blood, they can't figure out what it is and it's highly unlikey that he swallowed anything because he hates being on the floor. I'm frustrated that he's had so many x-rays and no one knows anything. Has anyone had any experience with this?

i feel she needs to teach him manners also. it does not seem to bother her at all. he says excuse me but he does it on purpose. how can i say something about it without causing trouble? he does this at the table while eating, at the movie show, and it's pretty often so it becomes a little irritating.

I really liked it until I found out how popular it was. I just didn't wan't my son to have the same name as the rest of the children his age. Not very original but I do like the name.My fiance's really crazy about it though. Since I told her how I feel, she thinks I just changed my mind so that she doesn't get her way(she's very emotional and very prego...lol...but what can you do I love her). She's 29 weeks and now I'm thinking about just giving in and making her happy. What do you think? Any Suggestions????

My son dosent want to eat sometimes and maybe eats like 4, 6oz bottles a day. We tried switching his formula. And I have talked to the doc. But he hasent helped. He was like 2 pounds under weight. Hes gaind that back. But hasent gained anymore. Hes only 4 months and I dont know what to do.

My husband is like 6ft 4in and weighs about 178 pounds. Hes verry skinny. Me I was 5ft 2in 114 pounds before I got pregnant. Could it just be genetic? Hes only like 12-13 pounds.

What can I do?
