My seven month old baby has got a viral bug but he had a blue tinge to his lips for about 30 minutes. He seems to be ok now but should I be concerned?

get your baby to a hospital NOW, go, get up and take him right now. Blue in the lips indicates a possible lack of oxygen, which means for some reson he may not be able to breath. Why do you even think about this, get him to a hospital NOW, why would you ever chance something like that with a baby. Sry if i seem rude or overbearing, but PLEASE, do not chance this with your baby.

Absolutely do not hesitate to call your doctor. It could be a lack of oxygen. If your little one is taking any antibiotics, it could be a dangerous side effect. No matter what the cause is, monitor your child and not the computer!!

when my baby was 3mths old she caught whooping cough and a few times she coughed so much her lips went blue, it is usually through a lack of oxygen, though my other childs lips did this once and it was cos it was a cold morning, best of luck

I heard that it's a sign of heart problems, could be due to that virus you said he has.
Get him checked out by the Doc ASAP..

CALL YOUR DOCTOR. It could be nothing, but it could be lack of oxygen. Why chance it?
