Ok you guys. I've been told to let my daughter keep her pacifier while she is teething. But, she's a total addict. She absolutely NEEDS it to fall asleep. I have to go back into her room about a gazillion times to put it back in her mouth when she's going down for a nap. I really want to take it away from her, but as soon as it's out of her mouth, in goes the thumb (or fingers). Her doctor says not to worry about it, but it's driving me crazy. Now, she even needs it while she's awake sometimes...which was never the case until now. What would you do if you were in my position?

Thanks in advance for your answers. Please keep it kind...first-time mommy here.

I have a 8 month old baby that is starting to roam, but I also have a 4 year old that can't step over the traditional child gate. Are there any gates out there that would make it easy for my 4 year old to get through without much help?

I checked mine and it said 100.9 I dont feel that sick, i have a headache and im tired and a sore throat but nothing serious. So im wondering is there some way to do this that im not grasping? Our child never wanted to latch on, and just hated the whole idea of breasts in his face, so my wife chose to pump for him as much as she could, then supplement the rest with enfamil lipil (is this an ok thing to do?). For the first 2 weeks it worked great she would pump 3 times a day and get about 3oz each time (which was giving him about half breastmilk, the the other half of the time formula). Now all of a sudden for the past 3 days or so it has the pumped amount has been very LOW (like 1/2 oz each time), Why is this?, and how can we fix this problem? (we really dont want to lose the nutritional value of the breastmilk). Also how many times should she be pumping, if we are trying to really pump exclusively and supplement when needed? I tell her she should pump more than 3 times a day, but she says they feel so empty and soft..... ? PLEASE HELP US... THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE!

I am pumping my heart out, have been prescribed Reglan, and nothing doing. My MAXIMUM pumping output each day is 6 ounces. That's with 2-3 pumping sessions at work, 2 at night and 1 in the morning. I'm just not making enough, and my freezer supply is about out.

I feel guilty, but I've got to feed her! I'm hoping the Reglan will help in a few days, but...who knows. I may wind up just having to do half and half.

Does anyone have any experiences that can help me out? Any particular fgomrula that is best? I know when I was in the hospital, they said the Similac tends to stain and be harder on their bellies.

My daughter is 10 weeks olding, weighing 7 lbs. She was a preemie.

Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

My wife is pretty petite, however our first baby was 8.5 lbs. She was on the border of gestational diabetes and the doctor decided to put her on a diet.

I want to take my baby for a walk in his stroller, but it's almost 80 degrees outside. What would you consider too hot for a baby to be outside? He's 2 mo. old and he sweats very easily.
