I want to take my baby for a walk in his stroller, but it's almost 80 degrees outside. What would you consider too hot for a baby to be outside? He's 2 mo. old and he sweats very easily.

His stroller has a cover on it, but it's plastic and I'm afraid if the sun stays on it, it will make it like an oven in there for him.

If its just for a few mins...a short walk that is...I don't think it will be too much of a concern as long as you shade him and he's not exposed to direct sunlight as a baby's skin (at that age) are very sensitive. If you want to go for longer walks try considering going for a walk where there's a lot of trees that can provide some shade and a good breeze

We live in FL where 80 is winter. It is fine to take baby out for maybe 20 min. or so. Keep the sun shade over him....dress him in just a onesie and socks, no blanket. Give him a small bottle when he gets home from his walk. A little bit of sweat is normal. 80 is not too hot.

Make sure the baby has shade. If the plastic cover is "see-thru" to let light in, cover it with a blanket so the baby in is the shade. Or if you want to walk more, go to an air conditioned mall and walk all you want.

Its up to you if your hot so is the baby, but don't use sunblock you'll just cause your baby to get a bad reaction since his skin is very sensitive. Ive always taken my 5 month old for a stroll in hot weather and he has been fine.

Anything over 90 degrees would be too hot. Just make sure you put a hat on his head and drench him in sunblock.

Just keep the baby out of the direct sunlight and the baby should be fine.

Babies live in a variety of climates around the world. Keep him in the shade and keep him hydrated (bottle or nurse) and he'll be in good shape.
