i just had a baby 9 wks and my bnoyfriend wants to get me pregnant again when is the best to get pregnant if i had a baby 9 wks ago

Well, if boyfriend wants to help you take care of the first baby, who is still going to need a lot of attention, then go for it! But as long as you're totally healthy and recovered from what your body just went through, maybe just check with your doctor to be sure. I think it's generally wait 3 months before going onto the next one. And make sure, hot-to-trot boyfriend is solid and not some fly-by-night, otherwise you'll get left holding the babies and the diaper bags! Children are not toys, so I would hope you have a solid home to bring them into the world. Don't only think of boyfriend. What about you and what about the new one that just got here? Are you ready for all this? Your expenses will increase double, with children. I wouldn't be so hasty unless everything else was in order for sure! Good luck!

Do you really think you could handle another baby at the moment? Now that my baby is 11 months old I only now feel ready to start trying again soon.
I don't want to be rude because you will have enough people criticise you. But you have to remember everything will be double the cost. Double nappies, double formula (if you aren't feeding), double carseats, double clothes etc.
Why don't you give your body at least six months. It is very hard with a new baby. There is no need to rush unless you have some sort of medical problem. Plus take some time to get to know this baby. You will never have this time again!!!

The very best time would be sometime after you got married. But, hey, why louse things up with some stupid old piece of paper that gives you a lot more legal protection than you have now?

What do you want? If you want to go for it. I would wait personally because taking care of two babies is difficult. You will never get any rest. But on the other hand, 2 children close together can be a good thing. Its all up to you.

how about you get married before you have another baby? and who cares if your boyfriend wants another baby...it's your body and i would not recommened it for at least 2 years unless you want a lot of baby fat on you that will be very hard to get rid of. One's hard enough. I know what i am talking about, i have 2 children...they are 9 yrs old and 13 months old and it is not easy!!! stick with one for now...do not rush it!!

I think you should wait a couple of years to make sure all is well physically and that mentally and emotionally you are ready.Since he doesn't have to go through the whole thing except as an observer,let him know that putting out a baby every nine months is not an easy thing.And for God's sake don't do it just to please him.

You should probably wait at least 6 months to let your body heal from giving birth to this child. Besides, you'll want to spend time with this newborn before you start having a second.
