have tried EVERYTHING!! And when I say everything, I mean everything. Yet, still this is her third time waking up tonight and its only 3:45. I am sooooo DRAINED part of me just wants to give up. My boyfriend says we should let her scream herself back to sleep, like just leave her upstairs to cry and go sleep downstairs. I just can't do it, it seems mean.

We get REALLY cheap name-brand wipes at a discount store, but sometimes they are dried out. Will the wipes still have their soap in them or do I need to put more soap in? I don't want to use just plain water.

Is this normal? Frankly I'm worried that it's taken this long. My 2nd baby also took this long. Her doctor had to put something that made it fall off within an hour after she applied that liquid. My 1st baby, however, lost it within the normal 2 weeks. Should I worry or just keep waiting?

My daughter has been super fussy all day today, especially at my breast, and I gave her a bottle of formula, and she ate well, filled her belly and fell asleep. She never slept this soundly after a breastfeeding. I had been considering supplementing anyway, and this just kind of clinched it in my mind for me. I have been going crazy trying to breastfeed, and my body just can't keep up, no matter what I try.

Did anyone else feel slightly guilty putting their baby on formula? Does it hurt to let your breasts dry up? I finally just stopped crying, so, someone give me some help, please.

I'm 22,.......need to be working, but I want whats best for my baby. My baby is a month old.

also, what are some activities that you'll do with the baby while waiting to go back to work? I really enjoy spending time with my baby but just would like to get out sometime. We get bored just sitting around the house all day!

today my left breast was so full of milk that I actually had to squeeze some out into a bottle (I don't have my pump yet), but my right breast is smaller and my right breast is usually the one that begins to leak or squirt first. What should I do when feeding my baby...feed from the right or left?

p.s. today was my first time squeezing the milk into a bottle due to the fact that my left breast was hurting me so bad!

My daughter is a month old, and trying to get her to sleep, and stay asleep, is really hard to do. This is my second child, and my oldest was the same way.

My son sleeps about 11 hours at night and probably gets about 2 hours worth of naps in...that seems like a lot of sleep, or is this still normal?

Last night was a stressful night. Ds was in the ER because he fell and hit his head. Of course the bleeding looked traumatic, but it turned out to only be a little tiny scrape. DH and the doctor both told me I over reacted, but the doctor was really nice to me and told me what to look out for the next time ds falls.

Anyway, I was super upset and couldn't quit crying. While on hold with the after hours nurse line the hold message was talking about traumatic brain injuries from "simple falls". And, learning disabilities, speech delays, etc from a fall. I freak out. The nurse says bring him in.

ANYWAY, last night I felt "letdown". I'm 24 weeks pregnant and stoped nursing 4 months ago. I didn't need to wean because my supply was nearly depleted from the pregnancy and ds hated the taste of my milk. Today I noticed little drops of MILK. NOT colustrum. Been there done that.

Do you think I'm producing more milk or that it was simply emotional and it's leftovers?!

We have a one month old and generally do change diapers once or twice per night. This unfortunately wakes the baby to such an extent that she needs 30-60mins before she's back asleep. How long can one go without changing a diaper and not risk diaper rash?

Have you used one before? Do you have one now? Wondering how popular these are. I have seen them advertised in baby magazines but wonder if they would sell if I offered them in our baby products home delivery service. I appreciate your feedback.

I love my new baby! Even though it is hard most times to get up at night and feed her because I'm so tired, and her dad isn't around much, she's like Heaven on Earth. I feel like when I look at her and she looks at me, time stands still. Sometimes I wish she could just stay this way and never grow up.
