We get REALLY cheap name-brand wipes at a discount store, but sometimes they are dried out. Will the wipes still have their soap in them or do I need to put more soap in? I don't want to use just plain water.

I use a wipe warmer, so if I don't keep the wipes properly moisturized they dry out quickly. So I keep them moist with water, it works just fine and that's what it says to do in the warmer instructions. I don't know what your concern is using water... but wipes definitely do not need soap added to them.

Most generally wipes don't have soap in them. The best way to remoisten wipes is to just add water.

You can use a mixture of about 5 parts water and 1 part vegetable glycerine (available at most health food stores), which has moisturizing and protecting capabilities... but really all you need to use is water.

Just add warm water to the wipe or start using soft wash rags that you will use on the babys bottom only.

I agree with the first answer, but you can always use very diluted liquid baby soap and water.
