3 times a day is good. If he/she has mastered stage one you can head on to stage two. They are not really any different, they just give you more in the jar. I would say if you go to stage two, one jar is enough at a meal unless the baby seems to want more. You are the mother, so you can decide! Just make sure that baby is still drinking plently of milk, at least 24 oz. a day. Oh and these people that say to wait until 6months or a year, crazy. There are proven long term risks to waiting too long. Baby is more likely to reject food and have a hard time learning to chew and swallow if you wait. 4 months was a good age to start, you can even go ahead and introduce a cup. Baby may not do well at first, but will adjust. Starting a cup now will make it a whole lot easier to take away the bottle later.

I'm agree wit the others participants that the baby should have at least 6 months to introduce the first solid food and that has to be cereal mixed with breast milk or formula and given 2 -3 spons twice a day and after that star with the fruits and veggies

Although you should wait till 6mo to start solids, since you've already started:
Can do 1st and 2nd foods. You can add cereal to things to make it thicker as long as baby will tolerate the texture. He/She should still be doing all normal feeding of formula/breast milk. In addition to that cereal. Most charts including the one my doctor gave me have cereal for 4-6 mo, then starting fruits and veggies at 6mo-8mo, then adding meat at 8mo. My baby is 8mo and only eats 2 times a day. 2-4Tablespoons fruits a day and the same for Veggies. He does 4T cereal too. We will be starting meat next week. I would check with your doctor to make sure.

maybe try just infant single grain cereal....it takes a while to inroduce fruit and veggies...so once the little one gets the hang of the baby cereal (like 4oz once a day) then go on with the other stuff...and by that time he/she should be ready for stages 1 and 2

sure. that's a procedures too plenty and is going on of formulation. She could desire to be having a minimum of 6oz of formulation a feed. as much as 30oz an afternoon which your Bub isn't receiving. The fat in milk are so significant for physique and concepts strengthen. Jarred food won't supply her what she ought to be healthy. Plus the different disadvantages of solids so early. carry them decrease back and furnish greater formulation.

honestly, she shouldnt be eating baby food yet, not until she is at least 6 months old. she needs the nutrients from formula or breast milk more than she needs baby food.

First answerer is correct. Babies should be only on milk for the first 6 months of life. Otherwise you are setting up your child for obesity; but hey it's your kid.

None. It is recommended that babies start solids at 6 months of age.
babies get their nutrition from breastmilk/formula! Their digestive tracts are not fully developed at a young age!
Please call you baby doctor and they will set you on the right track

None.
There is absolutely no reason to begin solids under a year, no benefits whatsoever only risks, serious short term and long term risks.
