My second daughter refused to breast feed from day one. She would just simply unlatch and look up at me like I was an idiot! (She still looks at me that way and she's 17!) Even way back then, my doctor told me it wasn't a big deal and that if I insisted on her having breast milk, I could pump and put it in a bottle for her. That worked!

Does the baby get bottles? Maybe baby has developed a nipple preference?

How old is the baby? Does the baby get other foods?

Is the baby teething?

Is the mom at home with baby or working?

TONS of things that could be going on here. Really need more details to help.
