In my meetings during work i get really nervous and i am not good at all in front of crowds. So i heard a rumor about putting cream cheese on your nipples and so i thought about it. At first i thought it was stupid but after a while i realized it was working. Its amazing!
It like eases the tension from nervousness. I was shocked!

I have a newborn & and 22 month old, I thought breastfeeding the 22 month old was difficult (she is weaned by the way) but it is 10 times harder to breastfeed the newborn and chase the 22 month old through the house esp. when my hubby is at work and im home alone. Would anyone like to share any tips??? Please!!!

My 13 week old baby son is very upset tonight - he's very distressed, constantly dribbling, rubbing at his mouth and putting his hands in his mouth, and crying inconsolably! His cheeks are red and rosy and so are his lips.

He was like this a few days ago and I told my Health Visitor but she said that he couldn't be teething yet and it was just his mouth getting ready for when he starts solids.

But I feel he is teething - his gums look swollen and I have read this is a sign of teething.

I've given him a dose of Calpol as I can't bear to see him so upset, and he's gone to sleep now. Should I call the doctor? I'm a first time mum so not sure what to do. I didn't think babies started teething this early?

I have some teething gel which my other half bought a few days ago - should I try that? I just don't know what to do and its horrible to see my baby in such distress, its breaking my heart!

Do you think it's better to feed your baby smaller amounts more often? Or larger amounts less often? My four-month-old will only eat 3-4 ounces at a time, so then I have to feed her every 2 - 2 1/2 hours. Is this OK? I talk to other people whose kids (same age) are eating 8 ounces every four hours.

Also, do you think this feeding schedule is nature or nurture? Is she physically programmed to eat this way? Or am I "feeding" (no pun intended) into this because I'm letting her keep to her newborn eating schedule when I should be demanding she wait longer between meals?

Am I a bad parent??? :)

My daughter is 4 months and has a really bad cough. I called her doctor and they said there is not much they can do for infants with a cold. Her nose is runny and her eyes are watery. I've been giving her pedialyte, since she doesn't really want to eat. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Last night I took my 7 month old breastfed baby to the emergency room because he had been vomiting and had diarreah for two days and he had been refusing to eat. The Dr. told me that it was something that has been going around, that he wasn’t concerned and that my son should be feeling better in the morning. That was at 10 last night, since then the diarreah has continued and my son has only been awake long enough to have a diaper change and even then he lays there with his eyes closed while I change him. He’s been asleep for about 12 hours now and is still not nursing. Should I wake him up or just let him sleep it off?

my baby is 7 months old, and she wont let anybody hold her.shes been like this since she was 3 or 4 months old...i cant get a job , because then i will have to get a babysitter, and she wont let anybody hold her.and i dont exactly trust anyone else, so that makes it a lil harder..cuz maybe if my baby is crying too much, the babysitter will hurt her, i dont want that..sometimes when we just go somewhere, and she looks at someone and starts crying...its actually funny in a way..but its really getting on my nerves!!!
shes a good baby, but i would love it if she would let someone else hold her or watch her...its like she cant even be away from me and her daddy...she wont even let my mom hold her...
please , someone tell me what can i dooooo!!!!!

I know that when you make up a bottle of formula and keep it in the fridge, it lasts for 24hours. Can anyone tell me, is it the same for boiled water? Does it only last 24hours as well or is it longer, as I don't always make up every bottle at once. Same with a bottle thats been steralised and put together, how long do they stay sterile for??
