I have been told conflicting info about how often to sterilize bottles and breast pumps.
For bottles containing breast milk do they need to be sterilized after each use or just once a day? My baby is 2 months old.

I have a 2 month old baby and she currently goes to bed at about 7:30pm and sleeps right through till about 5am. Firstly, is 7:30 a suitable time for a 2 month old to go to bed? Secondly, is it ok for a 2 month old to sleep for that long at night? She seems to be doing well and the nurses are happy with her health and everything but I'm just abit anxious - I'm a first time mum!

My doctor said not to worry because his eyes are fine (shiny) and he is not dehydrated. This was at his 9 month well visit. He also mentioned that maybe he hasn't cried hard enough for tears to come out.

He actually didn't believe me when I told him that he didn't have tears yet. Should I be concerned?

I'm looking for a present for a friend's baby. The parents are very musically inclined so I'm wondering what would be a good gift (other than a CD) for a new baby to get (him) started on the same track.

My newborn (16 days old) has just recently started to eat and eat less then every hour. She will eat for 30 minutes or more sleep for not even 10 minutes wake up and cry wanting to eat again. Once I feed her again she will sleep for less then 10 minutes again wake up wanting more. This has been going on all day and i'm worried i'm overfeeding her. Is this possible? Or am I just worrying for no reason?

Right now my daughter's favorite toy is a dog toy. She is 5 months old and she loves this pink pig that my mother bought for her. It is actually a dog toy, but it is really safe because the eyes and nose are stitched on, no little buttons on it. When you squeeze it, it makes piggy sounds. Very cute. What are some odd toys that your babies have picked up over the year?

My daughter who is 2 1/2 has recently been waking up early in the morning several times and I don't know why she just started this like maybe a month ago. How or why is she doing this and how do I get her through the night again? I have a 2 month old and between the 2 of them I am lucky if I get 3-4 hours of sleep at night. I know that it is not my 2 month old waking her up because it is at different times of the night. If anyone has any suggestions please let me here them. Thank you.

I've heard that it's possible to breastfeed and adopted baby. After trying for two years we are planning to adopt a baby and I'd like to try breasfeeding. I'd be glad to hear how you possibly can help your body to start producing milk, or if you have seen websites of books about this topic, or have this type of experience. Thanks in advance.
