Anyone know a store where I could find a cute basket that says 'Baby's First Easter'?

I've looked at Walmart and Party City so far, and haven't found one.

I am looking for a mirror to prop next to my rearview mirror that I can see both my newborn who will be rear-facing (due May 20th) and my toddler who is already forward facing without having to take my eyes away from forward facing at the road. Is there a such thing? I have one of those small mirrors that I use next to my car rear-view mirror to see my toddler, but I actually tried to look at my infant seat today while driving and had to crane my neck and stare. Any ideas? Thanks!

My baby is 6 weeks old and even after extensive burping, she still gets gassy with feedings. I don't think its colic because she isn't getting that unconsolable crying all the time.

I have a 5 month old who was born 10 weeks early, and she is not reaching for things. I can tell she wants to but for her it's just not working. Is there someone with a preemie that can tell me when I should expect for her to start reaching for things?

I have heard some conflicting advice on how often to bathe my newborn. My son is 8 weeks old and I have been told by different people to bathe him daily, every other day, or only 2 times a week.... which is correct?

My son is 5 months old and he is still using a pacifier. He basically only uses it when he is in the car seat or when he is sleeping. In both cases, when it falls out, he cries until I go in his room and put it back into his mouth or until I reach back in the car to locate the fallen paci. I put 7 or 8 pacifiers in the crib with him, in hopes that he'll pick one of them up himself and put it into his mouth. But it is not working. It is so frustrating that I just want to get him used to not using it at all. Help!

As a soon-to-be breastfeeding mother in an urban area, I know that I will sometimes need to feed while on a subway or in a public place without a restroom available.

Can anyone recommend a good type of 'breathable blanket'? Also, how do you do it? Cover, undo the bra, get the baby, etc. What is the best step by step procedure to keep from exposing yourself in public?

Also, when you have a C section is your entire naked body exposed past the drape or just the part they are cutting?. It is worth it to have a baby but this whole process is so humiliating do you not think?.

My baby is 6 weeks old. For the past week we have been laying him on his tummy when taking a nap during the day and he prefers to lay that way and is a lot more settled. Iast night I laid him on his tummy to sleep because he was very conjested and unsettled and he went to sleep straight away. I know that it is not normally the thing to do because of the risks of cot death, but when he prefers to sleep this way what can I do? I was just wondering if anybody else does this. I am a very nervous first time mummy trying to do the best for him. Please help

I play with her all I can, singing, reading, rolling etc, but sometimes I run out of ideas for fun things to do. It is freezing where I am from so I am housebound at the moment. When I can get out this is not a problem but I am running out of ideas and she is a very active baby.

I never had this problem with my son, he is now 2. She used to eat just about anything we gave her but now she refuses. Dr said its just a phase but its just weird to me I guess seeing that my son never acted like that. I've even tried the infant feeders but all she wants is formula. Snarls her nose at everything else and cries unless she gets the bottle. I know I may just be an over worrying mother as usual but its still weird and wonder any suggestion to get her to eat something besides formula. I know shes not going to waste away I just need a suggestion to get her to eat something else. Anybody?

I have a question about breastmilk production. My baby is 4 months old and wants to feed every 2 hours or so. It seems ever since she turned 3 and a half months my body wont keep up with the supply of breastmilk. I would feed her and she would get cranky. (not gassy) so I would switch to the other side. She feeds on each side 10-12 minutes. But she is still hungry. I didnt want to have to add formula but she ate another 2 ounces of it afterward. Ive tried pumping but I always get blocked ducts when I do. What could be causing the lack of not enough milk??? Could stress be a factor?? What do I do to help the supply??

Any suggestions for a formula that would help him? He screams when he's passing gas and trying to have a BM. I am thinking about soy formula. Has anyone had any luck with it?
