I am looking for a mirror to prop next to my rearview mirror that I can see both my newborn who will be rear-facing (due May 20th) and my toddler who is already forward facing without having to take my eyes away from forward facing at the road. Is there a such thing? I have one of those small mirrors that I use next to my car rear-view mirror to see my toddler, but I actually tried to look at my infant seat today while driving and had to crane my neck and stare. Any ideas? Thanks!

I already have one that attaches to the back of the car seat for the infant. The problem is seeing both the mirrored reflection of the infant that is behind me and the toddler behind the passanger seat.

My father gave us a mirror that fits directly over the standard rear view mirror and its bigger than the standard one. I can see all my girls with this, and when my baby was rear facing I could see her because I attached a mirror onto her seat.

I am a very young mother and had the fear of not being able to see my baby. I went right down to Walmart and found two mirrors- one that hooked right to my rearview mirror and the other one hooked into the back of the back seat letting me position it so i could see the baby. The "baby" mirror also came with a parent control allowing me the press of a button to play music and lights. Fisher Price brand.

There are bigger mirrors at Wal-Mart that attach to the upper handle of the car seat. You can see your baby in that mirror when you look in the rearview mirror. They also have toys that hang down on them so your baby can play with them and buttons that she can push (when she gets al little older) that make lights flash.

I have seen where some will take the small mirrors and put them in the back window, so that when you look in ur mirror you will see the baby in the other mirror...

Does the car's inbuilt sun visor have a mirror on it? Just position it so that you can see your baby at a glance. There you go, no need to spend any extra money!

You can buy ones that suction cup to the rear window. That one reflects to the rear view one. Or you can buy one (see the link) which is larger.

Any 'good' baby shop (babys-r-us, example) will have those mirrors.
