My baby is 6 weeks old and even after extensive burping, she still gets gassy with feedings. I don't think its colic because she isn't getting that unconsolable crying all the time.

There are some safe over the counter medicines that help with gas in babies. Talk to your pediatrician to see which ones they recommend.

It is called , Mylacon (I think that is how you spell it) you can get it at any drug store. It is in a little brown bottle and you give it to them and it really does work, really. It was a life saver for me. I am also a Reg.Massage Therapist so I do infant massage...it really helps too. You can massage the babys stomach (clock wise) do it for about 5 minutes and then take the babys legs and crunch them up to its stomach and them stretch them back out, do this a few times, it will help releive the gas and may cause the baby to have a bowel movement

it might be her formula, i would check that first, sometimes it takes different types and tries before you find the one that works the best. If you are breastfeeding it might be too hard on her little tummy, But she will get use to it :) IF she is pulling her legs up towards her tummy, or her tummy feels harder than normal, try taking her ankles and gently pushing them towards her tummy, this usually gets them to toot and takes care of the excess gas. My son was the same way and he was on similac, and that wasnt helping things, so i tried similac Alimentum and it worked wonders. I also started burping him while he was sitting up, which helped ease his tummy at the same time. And i did the pushing the ankles to the tummy thing :) Try those i bet it will work.

Change the teat of the bottle she is using - there are some out there that are designed specifically to let no air through whilst bubs is feeding. You can also buy infant drops that will get rid of the gas. All the best. God bless!!

Move their legs while on their backs like they are riding a bike. I pull my sons legs, bent and up to his stomach and the farts just come flying out!
Consider what kind of formula you are using and or if you are breastfeeding, watch your diet.
Some people say Mylecon drops work. I use the Playtex drop in liners and push up all the air out of the bottle, this really helped my son.

Infants gas drops are availablt at any local drug or grocery store. Also when my daughter had gas I would lay her across my lap on her stomach and pat her back like I was burping her.

You could try changing formulas. That sometimes helps. Or you could burp her every 2 ounces. If all else fails, use a drop called "Little Tummies".

Bottles can make all the difference, my little girl (now 6 months old) still can only use the Dr. Brown's bottles:

Of course gas drops may help too.
