I am moving house in a few months and was going to wait til then to seperate them, i just wanted to know if it was safe to have them sleep together. I have already tried seperating them and i was up all night with two screaming babies and were very cranky the next day. They comfort each other therefore i dont use pacifiers either!

They both sleep right through the night from 8pm-6am when sleeping together. Its so cute to watch them snuggle up to each other.

That's a good question.
I presume that your concern is relating to SIDS.
There is a known relationship between SIDS and infants who sleep with their parents. I am not aware of any studies showing an increased risk of infants that sleep with other infants. As far as I know, no relationship has ever been reported.
I would think that the risk would be minimal (this is just my opinion). However, it is really up to you whether you feel safe doing this. Also, you may want to consult a physician to get their view on this.

Isn't that just a sweet sight? Even sleeping they know and want the other to be near. It is very very common for twins to sleep together. I would say especially at 6 months there should be no problem with them sleeping together as long as they both have room. I'm sure they both sleep sounder and longer knowing the other is close. You may even find when you move that they want to sleep together. Like I said it's quite common.
You know they will be very close and will probably want to share a room for a long time. Our two youngest are very close in ages and they still share a room even though they don't have to.
It's wonderful that you are willing to help them nuture this close relationship together.

i dont see why not as long as there is enough room for the both of them. but just wanted to let you know beening 6 months old you might not want them to sleep together for much longer as when they get older you might have problems with them sleeping by them self cause they will be to used to haveing someone beside them

short term it's safe because even if one wakes in the night, the crying will wake the other. But the longer the sleep together the harder it will be to separate them later on. And doing so later on will cause them separation anxiety. They will start to refuse to sleep in separate beds later on.

no, they need to have separate cribs so one doesn't accidently kick the other one in the middle of the night.
