who knows of any good baby shower games?

my aunt is having a baby so we r doing a shower. any suggestions on what games to play?

A Classic Game: Get saftey pins or clothes pins. Each person gets so many when they come in the door. Say five.
No one, the whole night, is allowed to say the word baby. If someone catches another saying the word baby they get to take a pin. The woman with the most pins at the end of the night is the winner, usually gets a prize.

A Fun Game: Babyfood tasting contest. One person knows the flavors of the baby foods. Otherwise they are covered up. Pass around different baby foods. Whoever guesses the most correctly wins (usually gets a prize). Get a combination of gross baby foods and better tasting baby foods (fruit is usually good, especially bananas).

I co-hosted a baby shower and those were the top two games. I'd say you want two types of people helping with the baby shower. One person who can keep everything organized and the games serious and well explained. Another person who has a bubbly personality and can make everything fun. It is really hard to pull off a good baby shower (in my opinion).

Another great thing to do is have a gift just for mom (not about baby). And to have a baby book that everyone can sign and leave a message in it for the baby.

at my baby shower we played baby bingo. you can make your own cards w/ things like girl names, boy names, baby supplies, baby animals etc. also you can do the dirty diaper game where you melt different candy bars into the diaper and guests have to guess which ones they are. guess how much toilet paper will fit around the mothers belly (without measuring first) the closest ones wins. Place a bunch of baby things on a tray and have the mother to be take the tray aroudn to each guests for them to remember whats on it. then have the mother to be leave the room with the tray and ask questions about the mother to be (like what was she wearing, did she have on earings etc).

1.Musical pamper like musical chairs. wrap a pamper in a whole lot of wrapping paper, any kind of paper until it is the size of a basketball or bigger. let everyone stand or sit. play musical and pass the Mystery gift around. Everyone should try to tear as much paper off the gift as possible. When you stop the music, the individual has to stop tearing the paper. Start again. play music and stop until someone Reveals the mystery gift. The winner will be surprised that he os she is getting a pamper.

2. Name that flavor. cover participants eyes with a cloth and let each of them taste baby food. they have to guess the flavor. you can try 4 flavors or as many as you want. you can fisrt place winner or 1rst, 2nd, etc. if you want.

3. who can drink the fastest. who can drink 4 bottles of juice or whatever within (2 minutes, 3 minutes, 5 min, it is up to you). OR who can drink a bottle of juice in the quickest amount of time.

had a lot of great games @ my shower... there was one where we placed a few baby things on a tray like a binky, bottle, diaper etc. had people ea take an item as I walked around with the tray and then i left the room for a few mins and the questions they were asked weren't about the item they chose but what I had on, my hairstyle etc. Very funny.

The classic guess how big the belly is game. You can use toilet paper or string and pass it around. People cut off a piece that they think with wrap perfectly around the pregnant woman's belly. I never get tired of that one.

Guess the kind of poo. I saw it on the show girl next door. they melted candy bars in the diper some with nuts, and they had to taste and figure out which candy bar it is.

guess the girth- you use a spool of string or ribbon and you pass it around to the guest and let them cut the size of how big they think her stomach is. (circumference wise)

poopy diaper- get different kind of candy bars and melt it, then place in the diapers and have the guest guess what candy bar it is.
