My first daughter (I later found out after she died) was born with heart defects. I pumped after trying to breastfeed. I tied tubes to my fingers so she wouldn't get used to a nipple and everything, nothing worked. Then three weeks into it my milk dried up. My second daughter I was severely engorged and became sick from it my breasts were so painful, there was absolutely no part of my inverted nipple left to even think my daughter could latch on. My husband even tried to "breastfeed" off of me. Plus I couldn't afford a pump. After I finally was relieved of that pain, I was completely dried up And I wasn't about to starve my daughter for four days to try and get her to breastfeed when I was no longer engorged, so ended up bottlefeeding her. My 3rd daughter wouldn't even wake up she was so week from me attempting to breastfeed her. After pumping an hour I would only get 1/2 an ounce. Why doesn't my breastmilk leave my breasts? Please be open minded and not offensive about this topic!

Hi there!! My 18 yr. old sister-in-law is preggers, yay for her! I do not have a baby of my own, so I really don't know where to look for discounted baby things. But she is staying with my self and my husband, so we need it all, crib, changer, stroller, carseat, clothing for her and the baby. We want new things if possible, or atleast if you can refer me to some where trust worthy, for safety reasons of the baby products. Please if you know any where that I can look for these types of things, please let me know. Thanks!

I love my 5mo old son very much and can spend hours just relaxing with him and enjoying his company. Was wonering what other fathers/mothers out there enjoy doing with their infant this age that is fun, meaningful and promotes a deeper connection between us? Thanks and God Bless!!

If you have a 1 yr old and a 2 yr old and you are busy in the middle of breast-feeding the 1 year old, and the 2 yr old loads his diaper there and then and insists you change it immediately, what do you do (there was no one at home to help me)?

This is probably a stupid question, but I've read certain things and I've heard different things from people. My son is used to falling asleep on me. I am in the stage of trying to get him to fall asleep on his own. He only seems to fall asleep on his own when he can rub a blankie in his face. It is one of those light weight blankets they swaddle them in like form the hospital. What should I do???

my 8 month old daughter doesn't crawl the normal way. She slithers on her stomach like a snake and uses her feet to push. I try to get her to crawl the right way but she doesn't want to. She's a very active baby, but is that normal?
