I love my 5mo old son very much and can spend hours just relaxing with him and enjoying his company. Was wonering what other fathers/mothers out there enjoy doing with their infant this age that is fun, meaningful and promotes a deeper connection between us? Thanks and God Bless!!

I read to my daughter, tickle her, play this little piggy with her, and just talk to her she loves to be talked to.

I have twin boys and the most fun thing we do together is sing. I do think it creates a wonderful connection between us! I sing many of the same songs over and over (and over) again but I think that helps them recognize the songs.
They also like it if you move their bodies and yours to the song. I also play the piano for them and sing to them.
We also play on the floor with stuffed animals and puppets. I got a cheap little dog puppet for Christmas that sings songs everytime you move its mouth and they find that pretty amusing.
Have you ever tried to read books to them? They like that too.

When my son was an infant I cradled him in my arms at night when he waakeded crying..I walked the house singing to him and comforting him until he mellowed and fell asleep again in my arms..Now 13 years later he loves singing and music and is very talented..and thiugh his mother and I are seperated he and I are very close.

Any time is precious with them at this age. Tickling their hands and feet, cuddling and holding them. Even bathing them and changing diapers. All special ways to bond with them.

Truthfully, feeding time. I breastfeed, so that is usually our time when we snuggle cuddle. Any time you spend with them is so precious, for both involved. So every mom should spend as much time as they can with their child at this age. Also, a touch means so much.

I sang songs with my baby (and I have a horrible voice)... she loved "I'm a Little Tea Pot"
