That's gross! Why don't you potty train the kid already.

If you're getting more than two dirty diapers an hour, call the doctor. If you're not getting any wet diapers, take him to the doctor. Diarrhea is typically defined as eight or more stools in twelve hours.

Babies DO NOT need to drink water or juice. Period. The End. They get all their nutritional and fluid needs from breastmilk or formula. By giving them other liquids, you fill their tummy on it and then the refuse their feedings - which is what should NOT happen.

If it's not excessive in terms of many times per hour, it's perfectly normal. If you're breastfeeding it's expected to have very watery stools. And it could be because you gave water, but water is healthy.

While most young infants do have loose stools, if they are watery, you need to take him to a doctor quickly. Infants can become dehydrated quickly which can be very dangerous. As for giving him water, I don't think this is the cause. Formula is mixed with water for babies that are formula fed. It is not necessary to give babies water alone though. They get all they need from breast milk or formula.

A one month old shouldn't have water unless the doctor tells you it is ok, and you should call the doctor, a baby can get dehydrated very fast. Babies at this stage do have runny stools but if he is going non-stop and is just like water call the doctor, i would call the doctor before asking people on here, but no two people are the same

Ethel has the right idea. No Karo syrup. Oatmeal and prunes work great. Lay off the rice cereal for a while.

It could be because you gave him water... they only need breastmilk/formula at this age. If it continues then I would get him checked... they can become dehydrated easily if they have a lot of diarrhea (which it may or may not be). He may just be going through a change in his digestive system.

Don't give him more water... have him check if it continues.

A one month old baby doesn't need water. It can actually be dangerous for him.

Is he breastfed or formula fed? Breastfed babies do typically have very loose stooles.

Is it foul smelling?

If your child has had diarrhea for more than 24 hrs. Get him to the Dr. People do not understand how bad dehydration is, it can really create severe problems. Start him on Pedialyte and get to the DR. ASAP!! PLEASE
