First, I'm not pregnant yet, but my boyfriend and I want to start trying soon and we're already talking about looks (eye/hair color) though we probably shouldn't and no matter what, we'd be happy so long as the baby's healthy. I'm 100% Korean, brown hair/eyes, no non-Korean ancestry as far as I know. Bf is French with some German/Polish/Russian blood. He is dirty blond with blue-gray eyes. His mother is brown/brown, father is brown/blue-gray but was platinum blond as a child (as was my bf). My bf says he saw asian-european twin babies who were blond/blue though their mother is (or at least appeared to be) full asian. He thinks there's a chance maybe we'll have the same..? I think ours will be brown/brown (whatever shade) as brown is dominant and I don't have any recessive blond/blue in my ancestry.

I'm a first time SAHM with my 4.5 mo old son. This last week was a hard one for me. Don't get me wrong I have a good baby but I just feel out of touch sometimes with my motherly instincts. I just find that I've been having a hard time lately and wanted to know if there is anyone I could chat with that's maybe in the same boat? Please don't tell me about PPD just want someone to talk to and maybe help me with what I'm going through......Too many details to list....Thanks for any support.

I'm 12 wks and not feeling very happy. Little things seem to make me either so angry i can feel my heart racing or i'm a crying mess. Even my partner is starting to annoy me.
Starting to worry myself also as i feel i'm the only person around who isn't really excited about the baby arriving and i'm starting to feel like i'm a bit of a bad person.
Also partner is drinking freely and partying in front of me and i'm starting to get jealous of people having fun. This isn't like me. Just want to feel a bit normal again. Any advice? Would really love to feel happy and excited, but just can't seem to.

My daughter is 11months old and thew up lunch and dinner wednesday ansd then yesterday she threw up he morning bottle and the morning snack I gave her. She's not drinking well, she had 3 pee diaper changes yesterday. She sleept most of the afternoon and I have her some baby cereal at 8pm last night and she kept it down. Now this morning she has thrown up the pediatite and tylenol I gave her along with the 1 ounce of milk she drank.
I'm nervous she could be getting dehidrated, should I take her to emerg? What are some signs of dehidration? Concerned mom!
She's sleeping right now!!

I was worried to begin giving gerber to my 3 month old daughter, but my husbad wants to give it to her because his monther says it's okay. If i say no, he thinks i'm staving her. Do babies really stave because they don't eat gerber foods at 3 months. She likes it but i'm still not sure if its ok.

Well here is my problem. My husband and I are madly in love with each other and agree on just about everything except when it comes to our daughter. It seems like everything I do he has to run and ask his mother if I have done it right. And of course if it is not how she would have do it so itis wrong. Then that starts an agrument between us and one of us usually my husbands ends up on the couch for the night. And also here is the real kicker everything that my mother mentions he just blows out of proportion about and says he knows what he is doing and he can take care of his child! Like I had nothing to do with it. What I am asking is when is it ok to put my foot down and when do I need to back off?

My daughter is 4 months old, and she always seems to spit up. It's not hardly ever just a little bit of spit up either. She always seems to stiffen up her body. Like I will be feeding her, and I will take the bottle away after 2-3 oz. to burp her. Sometimes, she will start crying, but she almost always stiffens her body up. I try to sit her up in my lap to burp her, but it's hard sometimes because she stiffens up her body so much. I can't even use those little burp cloths or anything cause there is so much. I have to use a recieving blanket when I feed her. She has soaked my pants with spit up so many times. As for my couch, thank God for that stain resistant stuff I had put on it. She has a Dr. appt. on Monday, and I am going to ask the Dr. for sure, but I was just wondering what ya'll might think it is. Thanks in advance for any help.
