I'm a first time SAHM with my 4.5 mo old son. This last week was a hard one for me. Don't get me wrong I have a good baby but I just feel out of touch sometimes with my motherly instincts. I just find that I've been having a hard time lately and wanted to know if there is anyone I could chat with that's maybe in the same boat? Please don't tell me about PPD just want someone to talk to and maybe help me with what I'm going through......Too many details to list....Thanks for any support.

I am also a first time SAHM for my 8 month old daughter. I know exactly how you feel. I also have a very good baby, and I just get downright bored sometimes. I constantly question myself and what I am doing for her, most times I feel like I have no idea. There are plenty of days when I wake up and count the hours til her daddy comes home at night. I had never heard the term SAHM, my kids are grown. So I typed it into my search box, and poof, there it was.....There are lots of sites regarding that, and a support group listed so you may want to do what I just did, and you'll see that.......also, being a new mom, I may not be, but I remember, honey your probably tired!!! Is there anyone like your mom, or sister, or aunt, or best friend, someone who could come over and give you a break?......Its a lot of work a newborn. You probably just need a well earned break! Best of luck to you, enjoy that little man, my little man is 26, the time went by faster than you could imagine.......

mother of 2, 11months old and almost 3 y/o.
I've been home for 3 years. Sometimes I get sufforcated in the house that I just need to go to town and maybe walk the mall. or window shop. sometime an adult conversation is the key.
one day my husband was about to go shuvle the drive way and I said no I will (who really wants to shuvel snow) But I did just to be able to get a minute to myself.
I love my kids and am trying to enoy their toddler years cause it goes by fast but adult time is NESASARY.
