Caucasian babies are often born with steel gray or dark blue eyes; they may stay gray or blue or turn green, hazel, or brown by the time they're 9 months old. That's because a child's irises (the colored part of the eye) may gain more pigment in the months after she's born, but they won't get "lighter" or more blue. (Green, hazel, and brown eyes actually have more pigment than grey or blue eyes, even if they appear lighter in color.)

Usually the color changes within the first 3 months, but sometimes up to 1 year.

1 year is the absolute final point for knowing if they'll change or not, but 7 months is the typical point where you should know. Some will change as early as the first few months, but usually if they don't show signs of changing by 7 months, then they're not going to... but wait until the 1 year mark to be sure.

All babies are born with blue eyes and they change within moments after birth. If your baby is going to have brown eyes, they may be a cloudy grey/blue color now or they may already be brown. If he/she will have blue eyes, they will become more clear and blue each day. It could take as long as one year to become their final color. Two of my kids have dark brown eyes (like me) and they were brown within two days....my 4 week old daughter had cloudy grey eyes at first and have since become a very clear blue like her daddy.

My kids' eyes were blu until they were about a year old, then turned slowly to green.
I heard most babies have blue eyes the first weeks, you have to wait at least a few months to see brown eyes, sometimes over a year to see lighter colours.
Anyway, baby eyes are always so cuuuuuuuuute!!

the comparable element got here approximately to my daughter. She grew to become into born with brown, and around 2-3 months, her eyes began to lighten and now they're a depressing gray/blue with a sprint eco-friendly. She is eighteen months and that they have got been this comparable colour considering that she grew to become into 5 months, so i think of this can be the final colour.
