Okay, I'm staying w/ a friend who has four young grandchildren. We're moving out on the 10th. Up until now, I've been keeping my daughter in our bedroom when any of the grandkids are here so she doesn't get sick from them. She got her shots the day before yesterday. Now my friend's daughter is here w/ her 11 mo. old baby and she's not the best housekeeper, and her baby was sick last week and is sick quite often. Do you think it's safe to let them be in the same room? My daughter's swing and bassinet are in there and she fusses if she doesn't get her swing when she wants. Or am I just being paranoid like all new moms?

I'm freaking out about it. I don't know if I should keep her home and not take her anywhere until the surgery or what? How long are they in the hospital. Did your baby come out okay? I wish there was a support group for this kind of thing. Thank you!!

Am breast feeding my baby. she was doing ok for the first two months. Used to be on each breast for 10 minutes. And was feeding her once in 3 hours.
Now from the starting of her third month, her appetite has come down. She is being on only one breast at a time and that too for just 5 minutes! When I tried pumping out to check using a manual pump, it hardly came to 1 ounce. When I checked with her pediatrician, he asked few questions and said she is normal because she is active, has gained weight and not fuzzy. But am WORRIED. Pls. advice.

My four month old would never sleep on his back. Switched him to his tummy and found out he sleeps! Realize the association with SIDS...but if it doesn't work, it doesn't work. My parents had both of us sleep on our tummies...anyone else?

My son is 5 months old and eats solids 2-3 times a day. Does anybody know how much formula he should still be drinking? We mix his oatmeal with formula. He doesn't seem to like to drink from the bottle anymore, except during the night.
