I used to be a lactation consultant and have been in the medical field for 17 years, NO the tanning bed will not have any effect at all on your breast milk. EVERYONE does something in their lives that is considered unhealthy so don't listen to people tell you what you should or should not do. The question was will it hurt my milk not will it hurt me. I'm sure she knows the risks of laying in a tanning bed but that was not the question. Answer the question and keep your opinions to yourself.

Just off chance, you wouldn't be breastfeeding while you're in the tanning bed would you??
I wouldn't....might make the milk too toasty (or rob some essential vitamins for the little nipper).

Why take the risk? Your babies health is more important than your skin tone. Wait for a while before going back to the tanning bed.

Don't do it! That is a form of radiation so it gets into your milk. You also can't tattoo while nursing. Why take the chance. Good luck

Don't do it! Your child needs its mother around for many years yet and you are going to end up with skin cancer if you keep using those things.

no because its bad itll hurt your milk plus it damage the milk so pleasec dont lie in one
