Every baby is different.... and they all go through sleep cycles. I would expect a baby to wake to feed until about 4-6 months.

My baby was sleeping through the night for a few months, and now she gets up in the middle of the night ready to play!!

Don't get your hopes up about sleeping throught the night anytime soon.... just be excited for the few times it does happen.

my daughter started sleeping through the night when she was 6 weeks old, however my neice is almost 1 and still doesnt, so it just depends on the baby. However; some suggestions to make your baby sleep.

give him/her a warm bath right before bed, and a warm bottle.

Also, get a box fan and put it in the corner facing away from the crib, it blocks out all the outside noise, and they sleep peacefully all night. Most morning, i have to wake my daughter up.

NEVER!!! MUAHAHAHA!

All kidding aside, it depends on a lot of things. Like, are you breast or bottle feeding? Most find that their babies start sleeping through the night within 0-3 months of age--and then the stats go down from there. So, hang in there! Sleep will come! If you have a colic baby...talk to your pediatrician.

My son slept all night at 12 months. I took him off the bottle and got him on all table food before he would sleep all night.

it depends on every baby.
my 1st started sleeping through the whole night at about 4 months. you kind of have to train them. they are confused about day and night at first..

when he'd wake up to eat about 7 or so.. i would try to play with him and put him to sleep at about 10 or so . that way he'd sleep longer hours at night. then eventually he got use to day and night.
