yes. it depends how long it has been. if it's been like a few days or a week since you've breastfed, you can still do it. Just have the baby suckle like normal and the milk will start to flow. Your body actually produces milk up to a year after you've stopped, even if you don't realize it.
And there are natural supplements to help. Ask your doc.

Good news! Breast milk doesn't completely dry up for about a month, so you still have time to get back to nursing your baby.
The first step probably should be to talk with a lactation consultant, who can monitor the process and help you be sure that the baby is getting adequate nutrition as you move along. If you don't already know a lactation specialist, try asking your OB practitioner, or your baby's doctor, or call the postpartum floor where you gave birth for a recommendation.
Steps that have helped others include:
* Start each feeding with the baby on the breast. Try to avoid bottles if possible for a few weeks.
* Consider a supplemental lactation system like Lactaid, where a tube taped to your breast drips formula into the baby's mouth, so that the baby gets instant gratification as she sucks.
* For added stimulation to your breasts, you probably should pump in addition to letting the baby nurse.
* Some mothers find that non-alcoholic beer increases their production of milk.
* There are some medications that stimulate milk production, if you want to go that route. Again, talk to your doctor or lactation consultant.
As you start this process, feel proud that you are making a good decision for you baby. While it may be a lot of work, you can expect that you will be able to reestablish nursing within a few weeks.

My mother in law died when my infant was a month old. I was under so much stress from her illness and being a new mom that my milk dried up too. It depends on how long your milk has stopped flowing. If its just been a day or so, you might be able to get it back. I'd ask a nurse or midwife. Good luck and remember that as long as your baby is receiving some sort of nutrition, all will be o.k.

It depends on how long you were nursing and how long ago it dried up. When my baby was month old, I had nursed for three 1/2 weeks and I was able to bring the milk back within a few days. Just keep putting baby on and pump to stimulate. Good luck

I've heard you can, but mine went away fairly quickly - same thing, under a huge amount of stress. Supposedly you can re-lactate by using a pump, but it didn't work for me at all. It was totally gone within 48 hours.

Mine dried up with my first because of stress. Keep pumping to try to stimulate to glades. Ask your doc about a pill that can cause you to lactate. i dont know much about it but i know there is one. Good luck

YES YOU CAN! Most women can , talk to your doctor, start increasing your water intake, search lactation cookies on the internet (they are also yummy) eat oatmeal and flaxseed and let baby suck as often as possible. Get lots of sleep and you can do it!

The same thing happened to me and I couldn't bring it back no matter what I tried, but some women can bring it back.
