Don't worry about it. My son is the same age and has been doing this since he was 6 months old. My doctor said that when babies sleep they make a lot of noises. And, crying could be one of them. She also said that some babies probably have night terrors, but we just don't know about it because they can't tell us.
She said if he's sleeping when it happens and goes right back to sleep don't worry about it. Just let it pass. And, if he's fine - he's fine. He'll be eleven months next week and the incidents have gone down dramatically.

It could very possibly be a recurring nightmare. Could be a muscle cramp or that she is cold. It could be an emotional response to a dream. Everyone has to have an outlet for their emotions, and babies have only one way of communicating: crying.
This has no easy answer. I don't think I would worry too much about it unless it becomes an every night thing or unless there are emotional outbursts during the daytime hours.

My son is almost 2 and just started doing this. I think he's dreaming. He screams and kicks. Sometimes it last for 5 min. He never opens his eyes.

at 13 months, she particularly does no longer might desire to nurse interior the evening, and that is basically out of habit. I so of course bear in mind my son doing this at 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. I continuously theory, "no, he's basically waking because of the fact he's hungry. he'd sleep in any different case." And one evening, I nursed him to flow to mattress (like continuously), and then he develop into up in an hour, waiting to nurse returned (at 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous). i assumed, nope, that is not any longer happening anymore! i desperate to shrink the nursing off, until morning. Ohhhh he cried! yet I rocked him, and walked with him, and after approximately an hour he stopped and fell decrease back to sleep. the subsequent time he awakened, I did the comparable. For the subsequent week, I had my husband flow in while he woke. in any different case, he might assume nutrition. After approximately 3 nights, he develop into used to no longer being nursed interior the evening. And after some week, he develop into sound asleep with the aid of his accepted waking circumstances. i might make sure he develop into nicely fed in the process the day, and until now mattress tremendously. I continuously gave him a snack, and a nursing until now mattress. At 13 months, your toddler might additionally be up from teething - that could be a thoroughly distinctive undergo (as you nicely be attentive to!) yet I do think of it would be thoroughly nicely worth it to you to shrink out evening time nursing. practice your self for a combat, for the 1st evening (and doubtless the 2nd too). stay consistent, and she or he could adjust swifter than you think of! good success to you!!
