My brother is who I am talking about, my mom bought him a winnie the pooh potty, he likes to sdit on it, and I noticed on the side of the box it said that starting them early may make the process take longer. What are the pros and cons?

My 7 month old has been on nasty formula Nutramigen since 3 weeks old due to reflux. I have heard that eventually babies wont take their bottle because they grow intolerance/dislike for the formula (it does smell badly). Now he won't take any bottle and hardly spoon food either. He will however eat cows milk with his rice using a spoon ..he opens his mouth gratefully for it. I was desperate for fear that he would get dehydrated or sick. I know that they say not to give cows milk under one year age; but he seems to welcome the taste. What should I do? I even tried other formulas as well.

As a first time mum the internet is a dangerous place...too much information! Kooshies kept popping up as a best buy but was hoping any experienced mums will give me 'true opinions' from having tested the products for themselves! . I dont want to clog up my father in laws swimming pool filter in Florida for when we go in April....:-)

My daughter was born premature and is almost 2 months, she has pretty brown hair, but I noticed this morning that a small bald spot is kinda starting where she lays, I guess she is always on her head, in her bouncer, swing, and bassinet. Except when we are holding her ofcourse, but how can I stop it from falling out there?

My baby girl is over 4 months and is the size of a 6 month old. Maybe there are other factors involved, but it seems that when I feed her cereal (rice) during the day one or two times that she wakes up during the night starving and sucks down a whole bottle (formula). When I feed her just bottles, she sleeps the whole night. What's the deal? Shouldn't it have the opposite effect? Should I wait to feed her cereal until she's like 6 months? Or do any of you have any other suggestoins? Please help. (I asked a similiar question earlier, but failed to mention that when she wakes up that she is usually hungry. She used to sleep the whole night pretty consistently.

I know most people use Similac or Enfamil for their babies, but since I wont be getting WIC and will be paying for it myself I was wondering about Nestle Good Start. It's cheaper and claims to be just as good or better than the others. Has anyone used it? and if so, was it better, worst, or the same as Similac or Enfamil??? Thanks

I am looking into a nursery bedding set for my baby and I'm just wondering if $400.00 is resonable for everything including the accessories and curtains. Pretty much everything but the furniture. I'm willing to spend this but don't want to get taken. Thanks for the info or any advise♥

I have a 5 month old and my pediatritian says he has silent reflux. He does not spit up but he only eats 1,2 maybe 3 oz per feeding totalling 15 to 20 oz a day.We are taking one step at a time but i am very impatient when it comes to the health of my child and want things to work asap.He is allergic to dairy and soy so he is on Nutramegin. He has also had 2 heart surgerys due to a heart defect, they dont think his eating habits now have anything to do with his allergys or his heart.Any input would be great, people with rude things to say keep it to your self please,i am under enough stress.thank you.

I have read several baby books, and mostly the talk about: breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner and a "bedtime" bottle. My baby will only have breakfast, lunch, a very small snack (usually a teething biscuit and like 2 oz. of juice) and dinner.... She won't eat more than that! She's more interested in crawling and then she's so tired... she'll just want to take a nap, and at night, same thing, she'll go to sleep right after dinner... No "bedtime" bottle! (although she has formula with her dinner)
So... is she OK eating this much?
Oh, yeah, she's 9 months old.
Thank you!

How long should I give my four month old to finish her bottle? Typically she will drink a few ounces then she will stop. We burp her but then she refuses to drink anymore and will just play with the nipple and spit any formula in her mouth out. Should I wait about 1/2 hour then try some more or just let her drink what she wants when she wants?

As a baby, I was not able to walk independently until I was 15 months old. (I was a very healthy, active baby otherwise). Would you parents out there consider this age to be a "late walker"?

It seems that the majority of the babies my friends and family have been having, began walking significantly earlier. And no, they're not being forced. It just kind of happened.

For what it's worth, my mom says I was a VERY "early talker". :) I don't suppose there's any connection between talking early and walking late, but it's an oddly interesting coincidence, isn't it?

here's the deal... my girlfriend and I have been in a same sex relationship for 6 months. 7 months ago she had a 'one nighter' and got pregnant. We have a house together and I have totally commited myself to her and child. She recently got a new job and I'm having trouble getting used to not being around each other all the time. When she comes home shes too tired to be physically intimate. And I know after our baby is born there just won't be much time/opportunity to make love. Am I terrible for worrying about something like that? To those of you in relationships with children - how did you balance it out, and what can I do to make it easier for her to feel intimate again?

Whats the best way everyone has found to get rid of cradle cap. I've heard you should put baby oil in his hair and brush it out, but how do you get the baby oil out of his hair afterwards because I've also heard that no matter how many times you shampoo his hair it still looks oily. Can I just leave it alone and it will go away on it's own? It doesn't look bad at all, and it doesn't seem to be uncomfortable for him.
