I am looking into a nursery bedding set for my baby and I'm just wondering if $400.00 is resonable for everything including the accessories and curtains. Pretty much everything but the furniture. I'm willing to spend this but don't want to get taken. Thanks for the info or any advise♥

I spent $189.99 on the quilt, sheet, bumper, dust ruffle, $40 on the mobile, $40 for 2 window valances, $20 for the lamp shade, $40 for the rug, $20 for the hamper, $20 for the changing pad cover and a few other accessories I'm sure I'm forgetting as well and I don't care what people say it was worth it. Her room is beautiful, email me if you want and I'll email you pics. However I used all of my furniture including my crib from when I was little because it was up to code and my mom kept it in mint condition. Only the best for my little girl!!! Don't listen to others do what you want.

Our nursery is going to be in Classic Pooh theme. We are spending about $1000 give or take on the furniture alone. The bedding is around $250. The paint is around $50. And as for everything else, I'm gonna say around $500. That puts ours at a grand total of about $1800-$2000. However, you can always get stuff from a yardsale or craigslist. They also have second hand child stores. Good luck.

$400.00 is a lot of money to spend on nursery bedding. Think about it, your not supposed to use the bumper after only a few months, your never going to use the quilt, if a pillow is included your not supposed to give a child till they're 2 I think, if a diaper stacker is included do you really want to see a hanging bag of diapers. I bought an expensive set for my son and it just wasn't worth the money spent. For my daughter I actually bought just a few crib sheets, a nice dust ruffle and a light blanket from pottery barn kids at a very reasonable price. I'm not into the whole matchy-matchy thing anyway. So I just picked things up as I found something that matched the color scheme. I think her room is lovely and most of it will still be suitable for a very long time. Ultimately it's up to you but I would love to have the money back that I wasted on the set for my son.

I spent $400 on the crib, therefore I wasn't going to spend $400 on the bedding! I spent maybe $150 on the bedding and accessories and i got it at Target. A lot of people spend an overly expensive amount on stuff like that. I just dont find it necessary. The only reason I spent $400 on the crib is because it converts into a big bed when my son is older.

Good luck. I would shop around a bit before making your final decision.

I should hope that would cover it, i looked for a consignment sale, i got my bedding set with everything and the curtains for 45 dollars usually the sets like in babies'r'us are about 170 but thats without the curtains, also try e bay maybe, my bedding set wasn'''t even out of the bag, so it was new, try looking on line for local consignment sales, there is a big sale on feb 20-24 at gwinnett county fairgrounds in lawrenceville. Hope this helps

Look up at target.com. I bought Safari bedding collection, it has lots of accessories, its quality is very good and it was for resonable price. Plus it is cute and unisex. But anyways, look up, even if you didn't like that one, there is plenty of nursery bedding sets with reviews from customers that bought it.

That's nuts. You can get bedding sets at Wal-Mart, but you have to buy the accesories seperately. And that still doesn't add up to $400. I wouldn't spend $400 on a crib, let alone the bedding. I think you're being played.

We got ours brand new from Ebay for half the price of what stores were selling it for.
