Huggies little swimmers do have a good reputation but, if your little one is tiny like mine, huggies are way too big.
Bambino Mio do swim nappies from about 3 months and I haven't had a problem with them. They are also re-useable so you simply put them in the washing machine with the normal wash and hey presto - no need to continuously buy and clog the landfill sites.

I got a reuseable swimming nappy from Mothercare. It was like a terry nappy on the inside, and a lycra type on the outside.
I used this for both my babies, but I don't think it ever had a poo in it, so it was not really put to the true test.

particularly swim with hands paddling and feet kicking?! i might choose to work out that! you may take a infant to swimming 'training' at 6 months. I did with my son even though it became greater approximately getting them used to water and extremely interactive with mom and infant. there is likewise a software suggested as infant Swimming source that teaches toddlers as youthful as 6 months the thank you to 'stay to tell the story' in the event that they fall interior the water with floating and respiratory. i do no longer think of you may particularly call it 'swimming' till they a minimum of two years previous.

You mean kushies from walmart online? I haven't tried them. I heard their regular cloth diapers suck, plus I don't use anything with velcro on it now-babies can be streakers lol. I just used a regular pocket cloth diaper without an insert. I used one that was kinda old so I wouldn't worry about the chlorine damaging it. As long as the diaper fits well around the bum, there's no problem.
edited to add, here's some reviews on swim diapers, not sure if they have them in your neck of the woods http://www.diaperpin.com/diapers/itemlist.asp?subcat=SWIM

I have had 5 babies and not one of them has used a 'swim nappy' when we go to the pool they have a swimming costume and nothing else, none of them have ever had an accident and nobody has ever commented on it. Surely that is what the chlorine is for?

Huggies makes little swimmers and they have always worked for us. i have two sons ages three and two. we live here in sunny florida. although right now its raining. we have a pool and i swear by those little swimmers for my two yearold. he is just now potty training. they both used them since they were about four months old. great fit fun colors and they don't swell up at all. good luck and i really hope you enjoy your time in florida. i love it here.

I've always used the huggs swimmers! If you notice that your child is making that I'm going poop face than take them out and change them. Or ask your father in law, what he thinks. you could always let the child go nude.
