My problem is I live in an apartment and I don't want him crying and screaming and bothering the neighbors. Some nights he falls asleep at a good time, some nights he doesn't. I just want to get him to bed at a decent time every night because it's killing me . . . any suggestions?

I've only heard negatives about breastfeeding such as its too hard, its too soar, its a pain to always do etc etc. Is there anything apart from the babies health that might entice me to be more positive about the experience as I would like to give it a go?

Here are my issues:
It's winter and cold as outside.
I'm a sahm and my hubby has the car during the day so the gym is out.
We're still trying to move and our apt. is way wee and I really don't have room to work out inside due to the baby explosion.
My son is going through that "DON'T YOU DARE PUT ME DOWN" phase.

How am I ever supposed to get back into my pre-preg clothes under these conditions? (and yes, I'm watching what I eat and drinking water)

I found a great deal on some formula, but it expires Feb. 1, 2007. Would it hurt my baby if I use it a little after its expiration date? It is the powder formula. Thanks!!

Would you rather take the time to customize the cake to match your theme very closely.....or order one that was pre-designed. I make CUSTOM diaper cakes but I am thinking of implementing a "Buy It Now" page with pre-designed cakes. I am not trying to push my cakes....just get a feel for the general public's opinion.

All other factors aside....let's say the cost is the same either way. Customizing a cake involves several emails back and forth and an invoice sent and paid once the general design is settled upon. Buy It Now....would mean you click a button, pay, and the cake is shipped out to you within 48 hours.

My 5-month-old, for the past few hours, has been fussy off and on and keeps rubbing and pawing at the left side of her head, right above her eye. It's 12 midnight now and she's fussing in her bassinet and still feverishly rubbing above her eye. She often rubs her eyes when she's tired, but not like this. She doesn't have any fever and doesn't seem to be any pain (she's not clenching her fists or straightening and/or drawing up her legs), but this is causing great distress and she can't sleep. I don't see any kind of rash or wound on her forehead. Does anyone have a clue?? I am worried about her!

I only use cloth diapers with both of my previous children, but have never tried to use cloth in the first few days after birth, while still in the hospital. Will the hospital have a problem with using cloth?

Please, only respond if you actually know the answer to this!

Thanks.

My son has been drooling quite a bit lately....has been for the past week or so. I know teeth don't come in for months after the drooling begins, but it still seems quite early. Do babies sometimes drool for no reason at all?

I took my 6 month old daughter to the doctor on monday because she was coughing real bad and kept grabbing at her ears. They said she has an ear infection and wheezing. They gave her Amoxicillian and Albuterol. How long does Albuterol usually take to work? Today her cough sounds a lot worse and she sounds even more wheezy. She also has a green snotty nose. Should I call the DR again or give the meds a little more time to work?

It seems that everytime my 4 month old starts laughing, she gets the hiccups. If I can get her to take a drink of water, it seems to help, but I can hardly ever get her to take a drink when she has the hiccups. I read that blowing in their face or taking them out into the cold air for a minute will solve it, but it doesn't seem to work. Anyone know why this happens or how I can make them go away? She spits up alot when she hiccups, and it just shakes her whole little body. Thanks in advance for any ideas
