is that normal?

Don't worry about it - it's normal! Most babies tend to get these pimple-like 'things' by week 2-3, but it disappears just as fast! Certain glands are 'activated' in a baby & and excessive amount of 'oil' begins to be produced on baby's skin. This is due to the fact that the placenta comes into contact with the mothers' hormones just before birth. You can gently wash your sons' face with warm water and a very mild soap that is formulated for babies. (Using lotions, creams and oil-based products do not help and may actually cause more bumps!) Think the best thing is to just leave it - just after birth most babies 'shed' their skins & usually this takes away the 'pimples' as well! Enjoy your son!

babies get little white pimples. their little bodies are changing and growing so quickly that little imbalances are common.

They'll be gone in a month or so. Just don't do something stupid like try to pop them or smearing clearasil on them and baby will be fine and no worse off for the wear.

YES, this is normal and very common.

Most infants get this type of acne.
Make sure not to pick or pop them, as it will make things worse. The best thing to do is just keep your babies face nice and clean.

Enjoy you new bundle of joy

totally normal, just keep it clean and don't pick at it. It will go away soon. It just a little case of acne caused by the maternal hormones still in his system.

Those are milk bumps... my daughter had them also (and they drove me nuts!) ... just leave them alone and they'll eventually go away. I don't remember her having them for more then the first month or so.
