it's probably just chafing because of his clothes, he's been naked for 9 months and that oh-so-soft baby skin can't handle anything rubbing on it. My son's skin would get so irritated around his neck where the collar rubbed. and since nipples stick out a little they're a prime target for irritation. Just make sure your washing his clothes in baby detergent with no fabric softener. And try not to get soap on the irritated areas when you give him a bath, or let him soak in soapy water because soap is very drying and will make it worse. hope this helps, god bless.

ask a dr. but i remember my sons' feet were very dry after i got him home, the best way to heqal them is allow ur son's body to heal itself. it should clear up but ask a dr. congrats!

Nope. If he seems uncomfortable, then address the situation then, but if you're just seeing some redness or puffiness, leave it alone.
