Would you rather take the time to customize the cake to match your theme very closely.....or order one that was pre-designed. I make CUSTOM diaper cakes but I am thinking of implementing a "Buy It Now" page with pre-designed cakes. I am not trying to push my cakes....just get a feel for the general public's opinion.
All other factors aside....let's say the cost is the same either way. Customizing a cake involves several emails back and forth and an invoice sent and paid once the general design is settled upon. Buy It Now....would mean you click a button, pay, and the cake is shipped out to you within 48 hours.

I don't think I would ever personally buy one, but the buy it now page seems like a good idea for people who are last-minute shoppers. I think you'd sell quite a few that way.
