he is teething. as everyone else has said. i'm not going to tell you he isn't. my daughter is going through the same thing right now, only she HATES those stupid teething toys. i talked to my doctor, and he said if she is having discomfort, instead of forcing her to use those teething rings she hates, to give her a fruit juice freezer pop (just make sure you make the plastic corners smooth so they don't cut their gums. and poke a couple of little holes in the wrapper so they can get the taste of the freezie.) it makes them want to chew on it to get the stuff out, and it soothes them too. just make sure you are using ones that are "all natural" and have no sugar added (if possible)

He could be very well starting to teeth. Babies teeth at different ages. The drooling will keep going for a while. Though it is not the most pleasant thing, it is perfectly normal. Just be patient and it helps sometimes to keep extra bibs or clothing handy. See if you can find him a good teething ring. The most important thing is patience. If you start getting frustrated with his drooling he will sense it and you will have an upset baby. Enjoy him while he is little, they grow up way too fast.

Your son is drooling so much right now because he is getting new teeth. Because he is drooling now, his teeth should start coming in when he is 4-6 months and he will continue drooling for the next year as the rest of his teeth come in. Supplying him with things to keep him busy, whether it be pacifiers or cool chewing toys will be up to you. If you have ever felt your wisdom teeth coming in, you will know what he is going through!!

It is okay that he is drooling alot. One thing you dont want to see is a dry mouth. It is possible that he is teething but the first couple of teeth takes a while to come through. If you are to worried abou tit just take them in for a check up and ask the doctor. There is not one wrong question when it comes to your child.

My son did this too. I had to have a bib on him for a year. Some babies drool more than others. He is probably starting the process of teething even though they won't show up for a few months. I used to get so tired of him wearing a bib all the time but he will eventually grow out of it.

Your baby is right on development schedule! At three months they start to drool more and it in't due to teething but part of the develomental phases that they go through. Your baby is gonna start putting EVERYTHING in his mouth it's part of his "learning' process.Don;t start freaking out about germs as the baby's saliva contains anti-bacterial properties to prevent germs from getting in their system. So unless your baby is showing signs of discomfort i doubt you are going through teething just yet.. your baby is just doing what is expected of this age.
My son has just turned 2 months and drooling like crazy too!

I would say that the little guy is teething. Buy some teethers to keep in the fridge (not freezer) to soothe his sore gums. Don't bother with the Ambesol (sp?) since it just gets washed away with the drool. Check with his doctor first but I'd give him some baby Tylenol if he really starts fussing. Good luck!

Yep, sounds like teething. If he has a pacifier you will notice he'll chows down on the thing. You'll also have to use a lot of bibs unless you want to change his shirt a billion times. If his face gets chapped from all that drool-use lanisoh cream on it, that stuff that breastfeeding mothers use on their nipples. That worked great on my son! Also get him some "chew toys", I stuck them in the fridge-they are filled with liquids. Have fun!

He probably is teething. My son drooled a lot but the pain did not bother him at all. He was an angel.
