Try adding some cereal to the milk. Just a small amount, enough to thicken it. You may have to enlarge the hole in the nipple for the thicker "milk/cereal" mix to come out. Just watch closely that it doesn't come out too quick causing the baby to strangle. Also, if the baby is up at 6:30 ready to feed, it is fine to feed it.
You can do this at the bedtime feed also, and you will notice a longer time spand before the baby is ready to feed again.
Good Luck.

At this time it does not matter when you feed her solids, so do it when it is best for you.
Use the milk from the feed she is due to make up some porridge, rice or cereal and when she is finished see if she would like the rest of that bottle as a drink.
Hope that helps.

If the babys hungry then youve got to feed her. I had the same problem with my son. I incorporated some ofhis bottle in with the meal. try putting a drop ofmilk in a training cup, let her drink this then mix some more in with the meal, baby rice is good or even some mashed potato or boiled eggs he loved with milk instead od butter. Then if she wants her bottle let her. If shes gettin food shes more energy and will want to stay up n not sleep. I started weaning at 2 n a half months with the say of the health visitor and hes no probs. Try and focus on her night time sleep routine more than the daytime sleep. If you want her in bed for the night say at 7pm dont put her for a nap at 4pm. Perserverance is the key. She may be grumpy but if you manage to keep her entertained that bit longer it means shes more likely to sleep through the night. an using a bottle through the night is just asking for sleepless nights. my son whos 2 and a hlf used to be up at 5am for his breakfast and then have toast at 8.30am a nap at 9am till 11am then lunch at 12pm be awake all afternoon get his tea about 4pm then bath and bed for 6pm. I started making him wait an extra 5mins when he got up before he got his breakfast when and eventually yhere body clocks knows changes so they rused to getting there breakfast at 5.05am. then get him used to waiting another 5-10mins and before you know it
they sleeping longer and getting up at areasonable time. there will be tears but they quickly adapt. AND REMEMBER YOUR DOCTOR OR HEALTH VISITOR ARE THE BEST PEOPLE TO HELP AS THEY KNOW YOU AND BABY. good luck

just follow the instruction of the milk powder overleaf.normally when a baby is hungry, she w'd cry 4 it.after feeding, she w'd sleep again.if she does cry before her feed time, that means she is still hungry.so u've to feed her more milk let say by one more column of the bottle.she w'd stop feeding when her stomach is full.it's common 4 every baby.

It's OK, but u gotta keep it light. Yes she has energy, but u don't wanna get her into bad habits so she becomes an early early EARLY morning person. If you work on putting her to bed a little later, then she should hold out longer.

For the sake of the baby you should not turn to Yahoo Answers for advice. Try a health care professional.
