I need your help ladies. Can you help me make-up a game for a baby shower that is not too time consuming, I've looked at all the websites but they will take up too much time. I already have two games, which is the baby bingo (to fill one line and then the whole sheet) I need one more. Let's put our heads together and create a game. Thanks.

My little girl is 3 months old. Lately I have noticed that her hands always seem to be cold. I dress her warmly. She is always in a onsie plus a weather appropriate outfit. Lastnight I decided to put her in a onsie sleeper and a sleep sack and her hands still seemed cold but the rest of her body seemed warm. She is chewing on her hands alot and so I dont know if thats whats making her hands so cold or what. Should l be concerned. We keep our house just right not to hot not to warm.

I had pierced nipples for about 8 years. I took them out after a couple of years so I could breastfeed my first child easier. She never did latch on right and I quit pumping and trying to breastfeed after 3 months. I got my nipples pierced again and now, years later am 7 months pregnant. When I found out I was pregnant, I removed the piercings due to them being constantly infected anyway. I would clean them and change them, but nothing helped. So I just gave up. Anyway... now it's 7 months later and they still hurt, bleed and are infected occasionally. The doctor says it's nothing, but it kind of seems gross to breastfeed with pus and/or blood coming out sometimes. Is it wrong for me to just use formula? I know breastmilk is best, but it would make me feel terrible to know my child consumed blood or infection. What should I do?

My doctor gave me a handout at my baby's last checkup that said not to give her baby-food meats yet - but, it's too late, she's already eating them every day. I gave them to my son at this age too and don't remember being told not to. And I hear mothers telling stories of starting their children on meats and eggs as young as 2 months!

So anyway I never got an explanation - why is it baby food meats is not recommended at this age?

I always cook too much, and I don't know if I can freeze it or not. What do some other moms do? Also, do you mash it first, then cook it, or cook it first then mash it?

I am trying to be creative with my child's menu. He is enjoying the usual pureed fruits and veggies and we just started him on puffs and Cheerios. He is doing pretty well with his chewing but no teethe yet, so the foods need to be pretty mushy still.
Just wondering what creative foods some of you have tried with your babies who are around 7-months?
And, is it too early for yogurt?

My son is 5-months old. Pediatrician had me start him on cereal, then the yellow veggies (which he has done great on), then green veggies and then fruit. I am curious what amounts and schedule other feed their little ones.

Any info is helpful! thanks!

My daughter is a week away from 14 mths & has started turning her nose up at baby food.

We're introducing more & more tiny bits of table food all the time. She likes cheese, goldfish crackers (& other crackers), yogurt, yogurt drinks, pasta, cut up hamburgers, diced ham, popcorn curls, cut up grapes, bananas, cooked carrots, peas, corn etc. (Also tried scrambled eggs, toast w/jam - not a hit) She eats table food very slowly & much of her food stays on the tray or hits the floor.

Adding to the problem is that with:
1. a small esophagus, (born with it, expected to outgrow by about 18-24 months, makes her gag & cough lots)
2. only 2 bottom front teeth (just through since December & no sign of anymore on the way) &
3. the fact that she's at the VERY bottom of the weight precentile charts at 18lbs 6 oz. (& the pediatrician's reading me the riot act)

I'm worried if I don't keep giving her baby food then she won't eat enough to grow and thrive.

What do I do?
Thanks!

My 12 month old son is driving me mad!!!!! He has been on solid table foods for about 2-3 months now, I also give him bottles of milk throughout the day but hes to the point now where when I try to sit down and feed him he smacks me, smacks the spoon or whatever it is that I am trying to give him, the only thing he will take is a bottle of milk and I'm trying to wean him off the bottles of milk but there is no compromising with this kid he throws the bigeest temper tantrums and refusing everything then follows me around the house screaming at the top of his lungs and pinching my legs the second I stand still........ Please help me to get him back on table food and stop drinking so much milk all day and all night long.

P.S. No he is not teething!!! So this is NOT the issue!

He just started grabbing his toys and he goes right for his mouth. He will suck on the end of a toy and gets very frustrated if he can't get, or keep, the toy in his mouth. Last night I gave him a cold face cloth to suck on and he loved it. He is also drooling a lot. Is all this normal?

with our 1st, we picked her up when she cried. I had read it gave a sense of comfort. We also allowed her to sleep with us most of the time. Either all night, or in the middle of the night. Now the 1st is turning 6, sleeps in her own bed & is relativly good mannered. Our 2nd is going along the same path. I find that I am sometimes busy with the 1st & cannot pick-up the 2nd child when she is screaming. Today, I had to help the 1st with her hair (she has a scalp condition) & the baby (6mths old) had to lie there crying for approx. 5 mins. My 6 yr old asked why she had to hear her sister cry. I told her that I had my hands busy & that the baby would have to learn to comfort herself BUT I ended up picking her up & putting her on my lap. I had to do the 6yr old's hair with 1 hand (kind hard to do). I was a little upset & vocal. I want my older daughter to be good with the baby but I find myself mumbleing unkind words sometimes, & I think my older 1 hears. How do I keep my mouth in check?
