Actually those little white dots may not be acne but Milia - this are little white dots that are normally present in full term and post term babies. It is absolutely normal and harmless and please do not put anything as in anything on the baby's face. There are no remedies because it is natural and it will go away by itself. We have delivered babies a dozen times and I've seen this very often. My niece and nephews had this and our Doctor told us this was normal. Just continue with her routine bath and use regular baby wash on her. Hope it helps.

Don't do anything. It is very normal for newborn babies to have this. It is a form of acne. But not in the usual way that adults think of it. It will clear up. Just give it time. There is NOTHING to worry about. And to the best of my knowledge there is nothing made to use on it.

Clean her face once a day gently with water on a washcloth. There's really not much more than that, the acne is caused by leftover hormones from you and will clear up on its own. No lotion needed on the face, but baby massage soothes babies and can help the bonding process.

That's not acne, its a normal and very common occurrence called "millia". Do not pick or squeeze them its not a infection, use nothing on her face except warm water. Please keep the lotions to a minimum it causes many babies to have allergic skin reactions,if it has a fragrance, that's a chemical that can cause a problem with a newborn, wait until she's older.the same goes with "powder" that's easily inhaled to the lungs. Buy yourself a good baby care book. Take care. SW RNP

Newborn acne is completely normal and does not need any type of medication or lotion. It is thought that baby acne may be a reaction to a hormone present in mom's body just before birth. With rare exceptions it will resolve on its own without any treatment. If it gets worse, check with your pediatrician.

For baby acne - it's normal, almost all babies get it - it's just their skin reacting to being outside the womb. Keep it clean and dry (use something mild like Dove soap to wash her face if you need to.) and if you ignore it long enough, it will go away. It might get worse before it gets better - it could spread too - but it WILL go away!

you really can't use anything to clear it up. Wash it with a soapy wash cloth 2-3 times a day to keep her face nice and clean and avoid using lotion on the areas where it is. It will eventually clear itself up. You should see them coming out and turning into little heads before it clears up. The process can range from 1 week to a couple months depending how bad. I have 3 children and the 2nd 2 had it also. They both took around 3-4 weeks to clear up completley but they still had a few after that just barely though.

Do not worry it will clear up soon. if you are breastfeeding
watch what you eat. all you eat passes to your baby. just like what kind of soap you use to bath and do laundry. little thing can do it. but do not worry it is normal.with time your baby gets used
to the invorment every thing will be ok. hope this helps.bye

It's normal you're not supposed to put anything on it.
One of my daughters had it and I found that after the bath it disappeared for a few hours.
