My baby is not eating well, only 20 oz per day. She is close to 5 month old. She used to eat well, but not now

She was sick last week, but she is okay now. It gives a lot of headache to drink only 3 oz.

babies go through phases where they eat more or less. It could be that she's teething and doesn't have an appetite. Just keep offereing it, babies will eat what they need. You will be having another well baby check up soon (at 6 mos old), so you can ask the doctor then as well. Have you added solid food yet? It maybe just an adjustment to the food causing her to take less of a bottle. Play around with the routine. IF she is still having wet diapers, then she is not dehydrated. If the pee in her diaper changes to a darker yellow, then check with your doctor. Good luck

My advice to you is that any question regarding your baby should be ask to a qualified doctor. The rule of thumb is that as long as they are eating anddrinking then its somewhat ok. On the other hand if you think the amount of liquid the baby is drinking is unusually low then by al means talk to your doctor. It may be nothing but why take chances with such a fragile little thing.

my nephew is three months old so I think you shuold take her or him to the doctor 'cause something is wrong with him or her.
