yeah, it's normal. as long as it's not too high, i wouldn't worry about it.
if it doesn't go away after 1-2 days, then i'd call the ped.
also, you can give him some infant drop tylenol to help with his pain and fever. usually, the dosage is about .8mL every 4 hours, but check with your ped to be surethat's right for YOUR little man:)
take care.
p.s. i always give my guy a little tylenol before his shots, that way it'll already be in his system. doctor said this was fine to do.

Yes, it's considered normal. My son had the same thing with all of his shots up until his nine month shots. I just gave him tylenol around the clock and monitored his fever closely at night. If I thought it went up I'd use the rectal themomater - the ear one never gave me a consistant reading.
It seemed to help if I rocked him and laid him down for a nap.
If the fever goes above 104 and he appears to be lethargic or unresponsive then take him to the ER immediately. Otherwise, just pamper him.

Yes, crankiness, a slight fever, and even a bit of swelling are normal with vaccinations. However, I would call his pediatrician and let them know just to be on the safe side, then give him some tylenol to make him more comfortable. Good luck!

That is normal for several days after shots. Just keep him on tylenol and keep a close eye on the fever so that it doesnt get out of control

This is normal. My son always ran a fever for a day or two after his shots.
You can give him some Tylenol to bring it down and to comfort him with the pain. If you are still worried you could always call your Dr's office and have a nurse call you back

Yes it's normal. They say that the first 2-3 days is normal for children to have reactions to their shots.

Yes, this is very possible. Before shots, I always give my daughter Tylenol. I give her another dose after the shots. This seems to work pretty good.

Watch very closely My daughter got her test and pass out and her temperature went to 104+ in just minutes. If the temperature does not go down shortly then get the doctor on line and get the child to the ER.
