I want to feed my baby pasta (who is 8 months old) but have found the normal pasta too big, I have been told you can buy mini pasta for babies but don't know where I can buy it from. Can anybobdy tell me where I can buy it?

I agree with Amos..there's no need to buy specially made infant pasta when the regular stuff is just as good and much cheaper.

Try tube noodles and cut them up into smaller pieces after they're cooked. Maybe shell-shaped noodles and cut them in half or in fourths after cooked.

Fideo might be good too. It's like very tiny pieces of spaghetti and it's like 50 cents a bag.

Cant you just buy some small alphabet soup pastas, those are tiny and cost like 33 cents a box at the grocery? Or those little star pastas? I really think buying some special infant mini noodle is a waste.

Especially when you could just use a small elbow noodle, or some regular spagetti noodles cut up.

Just look in the regular dried pasta section at the grocery store. At our market, the smaller varieties are on the top shelves. Tubetti is fun for babies. It's like macaroni, but shorter. My son was able to pick it up and eat it (it's about the size of a pea) Little stars are ok too or little shells, etc.

Tescos do a rice pasta specifically designed for babies, it is in the baby aisle beside the food in jars, it has a Peter Rabbit on the front, and cooks really really quickly, you can also buy a tomato sauce to accompany it.

I buy the little abc pastas at the local discount food place called Save A Lot. I just melt some velveeta on it and my son loves it!
