He just started grabbing his toys and he goes right for his mouth. He will suck on the end of a toy and gets very frustrated if he can't get, or keep, the toy in his mouth. Last night I gave him a cold face cloth to suck on and he loved it. He is also drooling a lot. Is all this normal?

perfectly normal and it is so cute to watch it. althought it might alarm you and you might want to take his hand off his mouth, let him enjoy exploring his world. make sure the toys he grabs are clean and sterilized. also make sure his hands are clean. you can keep them often with a warm wash cloth.

It's totally normal. This how babies explore and learn about their environment. Also, if he is drooling a lot his teeth are probably starting to come in, which can be painful as they break through the gums. Chewing on things helps ease the pain, and the cool washcloth probably feels very good on his gums.

This is as normal as normal can be......my doctor told me to take an old toilet paper roll and put the toys through it if the fall through then they are too small......make sure u check cause they will choke

It is so very normal! and he will be putting everything in his mouth he can get for many more months. I think based on what you describe, he is teething and a cool washcloth is a good idea!
