perfectly normal and it is so cute to watch it. althought it might alarm you and you might want to take his hand off his mouth, let him enjoy exploring his world. make sure the toys he grabs are clean and sterilized. also make sure his hands are clean. you can keep them often with a warm wash cloth.

It's totally normal. This how babies explore and learn about their environment. Also, if he is drooling a lot his teeth are probably starting to come in, which can be painful as they break through the gums. Chewing on things helps ease the pain, and the cool washcloth probably feels very good on his gums.

It is so very normal! and he will be putting everything in his mouth he can get for many more months. I think based on what you describe, he is teething and a cool washcloth is a good idea!

yes, this is totally normal. he will continue to be like this up until he is about a year old so be sure that your house is totally baby proofed and there is nothing small laying around that he may choke on.

Yes this is normal. He has started teething so he will try to use things to scratch his gums. Buy him a teething ring to help.

yes, its very normal. little guys automatically put everything they can get their little hands right straight to their mouths. that's why we as parents have to be very careful what is in reach of our little one. just keep those sharp, undesirable things out of their little reach.
