keep doing what your doing. you can help him to walk talk and crawl but you can't make him. if he is learning from the help keep doing so. my son is 19 months old and i have talked to him since the day he was born about everything. where we're going how we're getting there who were going to see and any time he points or says a word i just repeat what he is trying to say with the actual word. as is my son is 19 months old and has the vocab of a two and half year old

Generally, boys tend to be more physical and will start walking, crawling (and climbing!) earlier, while girls tend to be more verbal and will start speaking earlier. I know one little girl who started speaking at around 12 months w/basic words and by 15 months spoke a hundred words or more. Another girl started w/the basic words around 15 months and more advanced around 20. Add a few months for boys. Crawling for boys can start around 7-8 months (early) and walking around 12 months. Add a few months for girls.

i have a 10 month old. she sat up at 4 1/2 months, starting saying dada and mama in november, but know only says mama.(with meaning not just noises.) she was crawling at 7 months. my older daughter sat up at 6 months, talked at 13 months, and walked at 13 months.she crawled at 8 months. dont worry to much, some kids are faster, some are slower. it is no indication of their intellegence if they are a little slower. have fun and enjoy!

I have two girls and they did all these milestones at different ages. My first born said Mama at four months, skipped crawling and was walking at 9 months, and you couldn't get her to stop talking by two years.
My second crawled at four months, said mama at four months, walked by one year. But she hardly said anything until she was 2. (She had a big sister who did ALL of the talking for her)
