Guys...don't be cute here...lol

When did you stop breastfeeding?
What did you use to supplement instead of milk?
If you used formula, what kind/brand?

Really, I'm clueless. I've been breastfeeding for 4 and a half months now. I know this is much more convenient than formula feeding, but ya know, I can't wait to get my body back all to myself!! ( Yes, I know the benefits for my baby girl and me, and she's very healthy.)

Thank you.

What is your favorite brand of bottles?

It also doesn't come equipped with a vibrate function, but it starts vibrating out of the blue. The power button doesn't help any, either - it just makes it go faster. Any ideas why???

my son (10 months) does not like playing with his toys. the only time he will show a slight interest is if i am sitting right next to him. there are times that i will put him in his crib/playpen with a few toys, and as soon as i walk out, he starts screaming and crying. all he wants is for me to hold him. what can i do? is this normal?

Is it just me or is it extremely hard to keep your house clean and organized with an infant? My baby is 10 months old, and there are days where I can not get housework done. I tried cleaning while he is sleeping, but we live in a small apartment and he wakes up sooo easily, that I can't vacuum or run dish water/bath water. What can I do?

I'm 35 wks pregnant and me and my husband were talking about whether to peirce our daughter's ears after she's born. On one hand I figure she'll do it anyway one day, most girls do. But doing while she's a baby and putting her through that pain would just be doing it because I want it not her. I don't know!

I'm trying to switch my 4 1/2 month old baby from breastmilk to formula. Is there one that tastes good? I've tried the powder form of enfamil and it smelled so bad I almost gagged. Needless to say, the baby wouldn't touch it, even when I mixed it with breastmilk. Is it just the powder form that is so bad? Somebody please tell me there is a formula that doesn't taste so nasty!

My 5 week old baby at this very moment is crying reallly bad. I think she has some serious gas. She has drank 21/2...4 oz bottles in 3 hours. What can I do to help her with the gas problem? She has been crying since 3:00pm and now it is 9:30pm.
I have given her gripe water and held her tightly against my ribs to see if the pressure would help. And it didnt.
Her cry is soo bad it sounds like it hurts.

Please someone help..the crying is making really frusterated!

Kept screaming and crying. I touched on his ears and he screamed so I thought he had an ear infection. He wouldn't eat or stop crying so I took him to the ER. They said he just had a virus and gave him tylenol. I didn't believe that so I took him to his doctor's the next day. They said he just had a virus but gave him antibiotics because of the high fever(103.7 and 104). Friday morning his ear swole. I took him to Johns Hopkins and they immediately said it was an ear infection and the fluid had went into his ear and drained into his bones. It could have gotten into his brain and caused damage. Everyone keeps saying I need to complain or try to sue because the other hospital and doctor should have seen the ear infection. Not to mention kids can go into seizures from that. But I thought since nothing bad really did happen then I can not sue? Am I right?

My baby only feeds for about 5 minutes before stopping. she has never had 'long feeds'. the longest EVER was about 15 minutes.
she currently weighs just over 4kg (haven't weighed her lately as been too tired to go out and she has been too unsettled to take out). I have tried to give bottle but then it takes 40 minutes to try and get just 60ml into her. (She won't take large feeds from bottle either despite having given her a fast flow teat and trying various types of teats). How can i get her to eat longer at breast or take more from bottle (other day her total bottle intake was only 400ml). anyone had ways of getting them to spend longer at breast which is my preference but i will bottle feed if i must.
thanks
